I can say I have. I just thought the name fit him better. :)

Of course.
I did, in the hopes that it would change some of the dialogue in the game. It didn't.
I always do that.
After my first game, it just seemed like the right thing to do.
Plus its funny in the dialogue at Cosmo Canyon when the guy outside says to Cloud "Thanks for bringing Nanaki home" and Cloud says "Who's Nanaki?" and then the guy replies with "Who's Nanaki? Nanaki is Nanaki!"
I still get a chuckle out of that.. haha.
I sure did. :happybday
yup me too. a more interesting question would be who didn't rename Red to Nanaki after their first play through
If you want even more fun in the game, name all of the playable characters after any of the proganoists, with Sephiroth obviously producing the best results. Par exampler;

True, true... Though RatCatMoo and Gay Lion are fun as well.:D
I named Cloud Sephiroth one time. That was a source of much confusion...
*guilty for naming Red XIII "Nanaki"*
*innocent for naming Cloud "Sephiroth"*
I did once...I got a kick out of the "Who is Nanaki?" part :exdee:
Only did it once though, I usually just leave it Red or RedXIII
...you know what's fun? Renaming Aeris to be Elvis. It's really funny at the end of Disc One and near the end of the game.
On my current playthrough yeah.
I did. It was kinda surreal "Nanaki? Who is Nanaki?" "Nanaki is Nanaki"
I do things like that all the time. It works well in FF9 to. I rename Steiner "Rusty" Vivi "Puck" and Dagger "Garnet" Once I got bored and named Aeris "Slum Drunk."
I do the same in Chrono Trigger as well, renaming the characters to their 'real' names. Of course in that game you can change the names after a certain point.Quote:
