Personally I think Trance Kuja was flippin' insane...
The main character in FF4 for ps1 was dark even though he (SPOILER)turns into a paladin later on
I am... mwahahahaha.

Sephiroth, he had that "I'm going to kill you in 5...4.. not running?..3....2...1... " in his eyes
For villains: its Kuja, Kefka, and Hojo
The other villians really don't come close to these three.
For heroes: its Leon and Auron
Course the most evil is Nojima, cause his terribly writing has forever lowered the standards of an entire generation in terms of plot and character. :roll2
Sephy, Kuja, and Seymour
Kefka was the evilest but he was very bright about it.
I think Yu Yevon was quite dark.
Does Yu Yevon even count? It just seems like a mindless bug to me, no different from your Spider or rabid dog.
I am very depressed that no one has mentioned Zemus/Zeromus. :(
