Word of the Day

So dictionary.com has a word of the day. I will post said word of the day here and all of us try to use it in a post somewhere. You can link to the post and we'll see how great you are (feel free to use :smug: everywhere).
This is not a game and there are no points. It's just to increase vocabulary, hopefully. Soon you won't need a thesaurus for Eyes on Each Other to make yourself look smart. You'll just naturally seem smart! I'll edit this post every day with the new one!
Word of the day:
a⋅mel⋅io⋅rate [uh-meel-yuh-reyt, uh-mee-lee-uh-]
–verb (used with object), verb (used without object), -rat⋅ed, -rat⋅ing.
to make or become better, more bearable, or more satisfactory; improve; meliorate.
Go use it~

I only have 2 more hours of today, and I have nobody to talk to. :( I will never complete this word of the day usage!

Just go to the Final Fantasy IX forum and say you prefer Quina because he/she cavorts all day or something! You prefer happy characters, you see. I believe in you, Shauna. There's surely somewhere it can be squeezed in without being spam. Or, I dunno, go to Evastio's thread and say you saw a member look-alike and you cavorted all day afterward.

I’ve been getting the word of the day emailed to me every day for the past 3 years. There was a time when I tried to weave the word of the day into posts here, but general lameness by the people made me quit.

I used it somewhere in here! Also Kyle, you should probably put the new word in a new post when you update so everyone notices the update.

Well, I bumped it and used a mymel :colbert: Your high expectations of me have given me four gray hairs.

As per Rantzien's Molly Weasley demand, I'll put it here first.
predilection
\preh-d'l-EK-shun; pree-\ , noun:
1. A predisposition to choose or like; an established preference: A predilection for Bach.
Now I will watch as nobody uses it :colbert: Except Quin, who hopefully says he has a predilection for my mom.
I already did mine!
