I think she's supposed to be 16. Which actually is legal age to be married for girls in Japan, so its less creepy than you think. Though I believe boys actually have to be 18 to be married there.
I'd believe she's 18. I'm 19 and I look about as young as she does. Some girls are just like that! As for the age difference, I'm not sure what Snow's age is supposed to be, but I'll believe he's as young as at least 23.
Snow is 21. So with Serah being 18, there's not much difference. The only thing that makes it look "wrong" is Snow being the tallest person on Cocoon.
The disparity between Snow and Serah in terms of height was very noticeable to me. I think that is part of what made them look a little awkward as a couple.
Snow is a child molester, quite simply.

American standards actually change from state to state. In California, its 18. In Nevada which is right next door, its 16. But American standards don't matter anyway. The standards of Cocoon would apply. However, we have no direct data on the legal age of consent according to Cocoon. Never comes up in story, and since no one ever accuses Snow of anything in appropriate, it would seem logical that the standards of the country of origin of the developers would apply, if she is indeed 16. So unless my information is out of date and they've raised the age of consent in Japan, everything is A-Ok.Quote:

The height difference is rather noticeable, but it just means he's more of a guardian figure too.
Fun fact :Serah was about to attend Eden's university :p and she is 18 years old.

Agreed.Woman much shorter than men isnīt uncommon.
I just can't imagine Snow having to lower his head just to kiss Serah. According to the FF Wiki Snow is 6'7" and Serah is 5'5". My boyfriend is 7 inches taller than me and I have to tiptoe just to kiss him. More than a difference of one foot can make a whole lot of...difference.
Oh and btw I took a tape measure to see how tall 6'7" is. FREAKING TALL!!
