Alan Wake was extremely good. Super enjoyed Dead Space 1 and most of 2. Eternal Darkness wasn't so much scary, but it was a bunch of horror set-pieces which was really well done for the time, and I love it for that
Alien: Isolation doesn't really fit into a horror category, but it is the best fit, and it became one of my new favorites so it deserves a mention
I need to go back and play more of the Silent Hill games. The two I played weren't really the strong points in the series, I'd love to enjoy that series the way everyone else does
I also really enjoyed Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Zero
Jericho may fit. It's a quirky first person shooter set in some abomination's idea of hell. The settings and story is really Lovecraftian. But again, it's only horror by the settings. Much like Eternal Darkness, and The Evil Within (which too is really good in that aspect)
Probably the original Clock Tower.
Resident Evil 4 even though it's not scary at all. :p
Speaking of which, has anyone tried out The Evil Within yet? Reviews seem to be really mixed on it.
