New to EoFF
Hello everyone my name is Gary and I'm a gaming addict.... wait I'm not at that group am I! Sorry.
I'm old so my favorite FF game is the one that started it all on the NES.
I'm a huge MMORPG fan, I think I have played almost all of them (mostly just EQ and EQ2 though). Durring the beta for the FF mmo I was horribly disappointed and decided I wouldn't be playing. Glad I had a friend tell me that he was really enjoying it. My name in game is Tegan Treerunner, and I will make an alt at some point named Naget Cinatas.
I have only one complaint about the game. The damn trade skills are addicting and are interfering with my monster killing.

You'll find there's a big FFXIV community on here. While I personally have not tried the game yet, we have a whole section dedicated to it and I'm sure they'll gladly talk to you about the game.
I do intend to join FFXIV sometime in the near future, though, and as one of the editors here, I want to help expand the frontpage content for the game when I have a bit more time.
Anyway, really glad to have you! I hope you find this place welcoming and stick around to discuss this series that brought us all here ;)

Not a big MMO guy, to many people to deal with online. Did enjoy the original Everquest though, as well as the FF Online ones for a time.

welcome to the forums! I played a bit of EQ back in the day, it was my first MMO. I'm more into the less level grinding MMOs such as GW2 but, I'm thinking of giving XIV a try.
