Look, someone gave you a coupon for $60 on video games! But you can't spend it willy nilly, you have two options.
1: Buy one excellent game that will last you about 40 hours
2. Buy 3 okay games that will each last you about 25 hours
Wat do?

Oh wait. I was gonna say 2 cause i'd have more hours of playing but if it's excellent.... I probably would replay it a lot. So 1. I'll go with 1.
The excellent one without a doubt.
buy FF9 or. Buy FF3 FF2 and FF1.
hmmm. FF9 OFC
Take option one and try to stretch 40hrs into 80 bye exploring everything and putting myself into the world around me.
My backlog is big enough as it is, so one game.
What vermachtnis said. I have tons of game that i need to play, so i can't really afford to spend time on just ok games.
Wait until the $60 game is on sale for $15 and buy last generation's $60 games for much less now.
Why not wait until the copyright expires and get them for free?
Cause most people don't live to be over a 120 years old, which is when most copyright media goes into fair use.
For the question, I would go for the one great experience over lesser but numerous experiences. An excellent game will keep you hooked, a good game tends to fall into the "one and done" category.
thats the joke
Definitely quality over quantity
One excellent game.
My time is limited.
Option A = 40 hours
Option B = 3 x 25 = 75 hours
A, no contest.
I'm more likely to want to replay the excellent game multiple times, so I'll go for that one.
Quality over quantity. Wins every time.
