When Cloud lands in the cathedral after the fight with the techno-soldier in reactor 5, he has a conversation in his mind with someone. Does anyone have any theories on who this person is? I have thought it through and can't think of any candidates at all. The person obviously knows Cloud (back then, you could get away with just scraped knees.) and is obviously a friend, so it's not Sephiroth or Jenova speaking through Jenova's cells. Anyone care to theorise?
It's Cloud's true self. Pretty obvious, really, especially considering all the scenes where you can plainly see him talking to a transparent version of himself.

Yea, apart from Aeris talking, you coud say its the 'real Cloud' talking to him

It is actually Jenova. This happens because Cloud was injected with Jenova's cells. It is clearly given away when it says something (cant remember what) at the part where Aeris dies.
