Yes and it's bloody stupid.
It is. It kills Christmas spirit. I want my Christmas in December, gosh! ;_____;

Yes, it's being pushed earlier and earlier each year it seems. They used to at least wait until Halloween was over, but not anymore.
Nope, what do you expect?Quote:

we've started stocking christmas decorations and toys now
that scares me ;[
That's nothing. My mom is well known for stockpiling gifts all year long. If there's an event, she's ready.
Anyway, at least the madness really doesn't kick in until Black Friday.
everyone i know thinks its stupid how early people start with the christmas decorations, but everyone around my town does it, so i guess my friends and family are the only ones that think that way where i live
maybe the people that start so early are just way too anxious about christmas so they try to get an early start and do the 90 days of christmas
It's the marketing machine. IT WILL NOT STOP
Christmas always takes the spotlight off of Halloween. The bastard.
Me and a friend set the common room Christmas tree ablaze a couple of years ago, and I fully recommend you do the same. If the police ask, I am a voice in your head and not a real person (it's near enough to the truth anyway)
We don't put up our decorations until Thanksgiving day. It's bloody ridiculous the way things are getting done these days.
