Isn't Irvine a SeeD from Galbadia garden? cause it was a SeeD mission and they gave them a sharpshooter. I don't remember that scene well but he also knows the SeeD salute and Rinoa says something like (definitely not an exact quote) "pretend I'm a SeeD like you guys."

So I would say 5.

Oops... I was just making sure, but I'm gonna leave it up because if someone can tell the exact scene that would be worth hearing.

laguna,kiros,ward are not SeeD because they were in the army before Cid and Edea created Garden

he could just be a student u know?
and we already know thar Rinoa is not

I think he is from the fact that it's very specific that Rinoa isn't one and it might come up if he wasn't one, but I could definitely be wrong... meh..

(SPOILER)Irvine can't be a SeeD, though--he's a sharpshooter, sure, but all SeeDs are stationed at Balamb Garden (And SeeD is specifically defined to be Balamb Garden's mercenaries), and it's the only place to take the field exam.
