I think I came up with a thread like this when Nintendo Wi-Fi was first released...whatever, I'm not complaining.

I do plan on getting MKDS and AC:WW, so I'll be posting soon.

Also, how many friends can you have?

I believe Mario Kart allows you to have up to fifty friends.

Can you only play with your friends?

You can play against anyone picked "worldwide", "continental", in your friends roster, or among rivals (I believe it's people you played against before).

Yams: I won't be getting Tony Hawk either. Animal Crossing and Metroid, on the other hand...

How do you set up your DS to play online? Do you need to connect something to a router from your DS?

If you have a WEP capable wifi router, you just connect to it after setting up a few things (SSID, key...), if the router is AOSS capable, it's even easier. If you don't have a router, then you need to either go to a hotspot (McDonald's for example) or get the USB wifi access point.

I got the USB thingy so you guys can play me in Mario Kart now. My friend code is...
