This topic is for those of us who are sad, lonely, bitter and/or twisted on Valentines day, the day when every self-righteous smug couple shoves their love in the face of the lonesome and downtrodden everywhere. Doesn't it just make you sick in a fundamental way?
Come and rant my fellow pessimists. Rant with the little spark of life you still have left in you.
Whoa, you hate Valentine's day?! You've got to be the first person in history, possibly even geography, to do that!
Yes, this really does make me sick. Absolutly pointless holiday for no reason other than to make money.

Where I live, most couples don't really bother with Valentine's day. It is the singletons that celebrate it, by sending random people they find attractive, cards, and/or gifts. I thought it was like that everywhere?
Its an eye opener, seeing so many couples around you, I felt quite lonely :(

chaos: For me, it sucks because I forgot today was Valentine's Day, thus my girlfriend got mad when I didn't what the day was, and showed me empty pockets so she knew I wasn't kidding.
