Am I the only one who can't stand kids being heroes in movies? You know the kind - kid outsmarts adults, people rely on kids to save the world, that sort of thing. I mean, I don't mind small-scale stuff like Home Alone, where a kid managed to outsmart a couple of dumbass bandits in his own home for the sake of comedy... but saving the world and outsmarting 'evil empires' and all that sort of thing? That bugs me. They can't do that! Grrr. Bloody upstarts, I tell ya. Leave the heroic deeds to the adults. Especially in serious movies.
