Should I Do This?
I dont have the money go out buy a new system but i think its still possible. See i have a Gamecube and i know that gamecube doesn't have as many great games as the PS2 and i want to be able to get a PS2 because i have games for the PS2 that i want to play. I also own Final Fantasy VII. But the thing is in order to get the PS2 I would have to trade my gamecube in for it in exchange. I was wondering if someone might be able to post their opinions and help me out. Anything you have to say will be helpful and i appreciate it. :ty:

It depends, which games have you got for your gamecube?
-
I currently have Resident Evil0 and Resident Evil4. I also have: Super Smash Bros. Melee, Hitman2, and Skies of Arcadia. I have beaten all of them. I also have two crappy 007 games. If this helps
-
If you've beaten most of them, theres nothing stopping you from trading it in for a ps2. Your sure you won't be wanting anything else for the gamecube?
-
Yeah Im Sure. I posted a thread about getting a new rpg for my gamecube. But i figured ill just not by anymore for it and just get a new game of PS2 and just get rid of the gamecube for the PS2.

Good choice, oh and you might like black for the ps2.

HOLD EVERYTHING!!!!!!
now that ive gotten your attention.....
keep the residents of evil, and melee and hitmen, sell the rest, and get a PS2
but when Wii comes out, get it and then play all your GC games again!
double win, and at most, its a 400 price, and about 20-30 comes from the sold games, or even more(depending)
saves you the minimum of 200 if you were thinkin of the 600 PS3.....*shock*

What Ninja Ryu said. That's a very good idea. n_n

He should save them, the games he's played and beaten already and probably won't feel like playing again, for the wii?
-
>>> The only reason I would keep the GC is that Twilight Princess game, Im not even a Zelda fan and I so want to play it..

Heh, I was in your exact position, Vinecnt's Inferno, around three or four years ago. I ultimately ended up selling my gamecube and buying a PS2, and I have only regretted the move when a few games came out that would never port to he PS2 (Metroid Prime: Echoes namely). However, luckily for me, I sold my Cube to a friend close to me, Aralith in fact, and was able to play Super Smash Bros. Melee and Metroid Prime and the like whenever I wished.
Basically, if you are done with your games and have been left wanting stuff from the PS2 more and more, than by all means, trade your Cube in and get a PS2.
Just have a friend you can bum a Cube off of for when the "need" strikes.

The PS2 has a really great library of games, and the console is pretty cheap. Now would be the best time to get a PS2.

you'd be smarter if you waited a few months for the PS3 to come out
