Can anyone tell me what Kain was doing at the east side of Baron Castle before he left Baron with Cecil? He obviously wasn't sleeping there since there's no beds on that side of the castle.

He was talking with the other dragoons.

He was Dragooning around....Prolly sleeping with Rosa, why do you think was is trying to get back with her?? One night of passion wasn't enough...
Some people don't roll out of bed the last possible minute before they have to leave on a mission.
Obviously he was hitting up the food court just before leaving.
He was in bed with Rosa one last time before he carried out his evil plan to kill Cecil so he could have Rosa to himself...duhh

Seriously, he was probly geting ready to go.
It's a video game. One from the SNES days no less. There needs to be no reason, logical reasoning wasn't anything they needed back then, let alone for the placement of characters. XD
Heck the world of FFIV has no bathrooms and anyway for hygiene. So logically the people of that world must be very smelly and dirty. Yet we don't think of that cause logically we'ld think how nasty it is. :p
Or they could be very un-smelly and dirty hence having no need for washrooms.

NOt many know that Kain had a gambling addiction.
He was there, cooly betting his sanity and mind against Zemus, and upon losing, he was granted a loan. Afterwards, when Cecil met up with him, Kain was so frightened and depressed that he started spea\king aloud about his dragoonship and past.
Then, after the Rydia incident, Zemus came a collectin :P
Maybe he was cutting paper into really tiny pieces like confetti, so after the game was over, Kain could congrat Cecil and throw confetti at him. You never know:mad: ...
