Now this would be funny...If they took some of the dragonlance books, say for example, Chronicles, and made a movie. I wonder who would play Tanis, or Raistlin...Hm, what do you guys think? THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT DRAGONLANCE IS!

I would love to see a Dragonlance movie, IF and ONLY IF it was executed the right way. No one wants to see it go the way D&D did. :(
As for actors, I think I would prefer to see mostly unknowns. I think I'd like to see Criss Angel as Dalamar, though. :P
But unless they can stay true to the books and still pull it off as nicely as LOTR came off, I'm not for it.
i heard a rumour that one is in the works...the other D&D movies were less than impressive so...
Last I heard, they're making an animated series of the Chronicles.
They are making a movie and not just an animated series. Look here:

...and here you can visit the official website:

I was looking at the sites, it said animated?
I guess it was funny.
Tanis rules!!!
What the hell is Dragonlance?
Moon Rabbits, Your just jealous.
It is a lance made of dragons.
Alternatively, it is a large series of novels taking place mostly in Ansalon, but sometimes in lesser known areas such as Taladas, which is north of Ansalon. Krynn is the name of the world in which it is set.
And hey, I didn't know this, but apparently "Wishmaster", a song by Nightwish, is based on the relationship between Raistlin and Dalamar. Learn something new everyday.
Raistlin and Dalmar, relationship...Like a friend relationship?
Master-Apprentice, I would assume. I am more of a Forgotten Realms reader, I have read less than half a dozen Dragonlance books.
I tried reading a Dragonlance book one. It was horrible.
