I use the MMD3 Skin with the DeviantArt color scheme.
When I was using winamp, I just used the default scheme. Now I no longer use it but use VLC and Windows Media player instead. :)
i don't use it anymore, but i always kept it on default.
It's still my main media player. I use a Motorhead skin.

I've used this theme for the last 3 years.
I like to change the colour now and then to match my current desktop theme. Right now I'm using the MMD3 skin with the Juicy | Orange colour theme.
Tch.. the old and useful miniplayer skin... gets out of the way when im busy doing things on the PC
I was using Nucleo NLog v2G for a long time. Now I use foobar2000 instead of winamp, but I haven't gotten around to customizing it yet.

iTunes, yo~~ Winamp use reminds me of the days when I used to download music off the internet...but since then I've turned into some kind of audio fanatic where I don't trust the quality of downloaded music anymore, so I like to rip all my music myself.
I used to like anime themes, though...last one I had/used was Koganei from Flame of Recca :heart:
Why don't you trust the quality of downloaded music? It's really easy to check if a file has completed without errors, and what the bit rate is. Also, real audio fanatics wouldn't even be satisfied with CD-quality audio :p, and would gag at the thought of compressed audio, even at 320kbps.
Personally, I'm satisfied with 224kbps MP3 and higher, and I have little problems finding music in that quality online.
Hey now, I said audio fanatic not audiophile. My experience has been that songs are most often labelled wrong, titled wrong, wrong artist, blips in the middle, weird remixes, and I know that if I rip a song myself it will have all of that labelling stuff done right, and if it rips with a skip then I can re-rip it easier/quicker than to try and find the same file again. :p If I like an artist/band I do them the courtesy of buying their album even though I know they get pennies from an album's sale.Quote:

Blips in the middle of a song are usually because of a transfer error using a protocol that doesn't check for transfer error properly. If you get decent entire-album releases in one archive/torrent, they're almost always tagged correctly. That's what it is like for me anyway, almost all the albums I've downloaded the last 4 years have been tagged correctly. The stuff that haven't been tagged correctly have usually been single files that I've gotten from filesharing programs like limewire and the like.
I change my Winamp theme once a month or so, along with my desktop. Currently I'm using a Yoshi's Island theme.
I'm not trying to argue with you ;) I'm just saying based on my past experience, downloading music was best when I was looking for a rare/weird song. My musical tastes have changed such that if there's something I like, I buy the album, or if I'm interested in hearing music that's not 'mainstream' I'll tune in to internet radio.
I don't think I've downloaded single rare/weird songs in years :p. I dislike having stray songs lying on my hard drives, so I get the entire albums even if I'm just looking for one song. That's also a good way of discovering new music, I find.
I used to listen to internet radios, but I found them to be too unreliable, and they started skipping when my internet connection was under heavy load, which was quite often. Besides, I like having access to my music when I'm not online/at my pc.
Not being the richest person alive, I feel that I need to prioritize my album purchases. I download most of my music, but I only buy the artists I like the very best.
I use iTunes now but back when I used Winamp, I would change my skin constantly to match my wallpaper/desktop theme.
These days my desktop doesn't change too often. I guess I've become less creative over time. :(

Good Ol' Winamp. Anything else just looks hideous.
I have some skin called Winamp XP, since it makes it look like the teletubbies XP skin, and been using it for years, even though the rest of my desktop is with the classic Win2k style skin :p Oh, and I still use Winamp 2.91 too, don't see any need to upgrade :p

You can choose not to install the bloat :p, I don't have the modern skin modules installed at all, for instance.
Winamp5 takes up roughly 15MBs of RAM after a couple hours of use and it takes about 1 second to load up.

There are about 10 that I switch with but Topaz for Winamp Classic is my favourite. :cat:
I haven't given my WinAmp a skin, so I guess that's the classic one. I used to mess with them, but haven't bothered now in years.
