Have you ever accidently posted/PMed something that was meant for one thread/person but you accidently posted/sent it somewhere else because you had multiple windows open and you mixed them up?

I forget whose User Notes I'm in, click on the wrong dude's avatar, and then send something inapplicable. Luckily, User Notes don't matter.
I never have multiple windows open for PMing and posting though. Of ALL things that require multitasking and speed, posting in EoFF forums are at the absolute bottom of the list.

If so it was purposely "an accident".
Once, I had accidently posted "This is random..." in a thread on some over forum where it was supposed to go in an IM conversation (why it got mized up is beyond me) but I had accidently pressed enter and it had sent, so I had a post saying "this is random."
Great wording, huh?
Luckily I was able to dispose of it.
I keep my tabs in the same order so that neverhappens. Forums first, then PMs.
I have said stuff int he wrong window in IRC once, but that has far more windows than I usually keep open as browsing tabs
Probably. Can't remember any examples though.

I accidentally made this post a thread, but my l33t skillz managed to revert the problem before it actually happened.
I think once or twice I've posted something as a thread instead of a post, and quickly deleted it, or posted something inapplicable and then deleted or edited it. I've never mixed up posts and PMs, though I've certainly mixed up multiple IM windows before.
Aye, mixing IM windows can cause some hilarious mix ups. Like cybering with the wrong person ( rofl! )
I'd probably just use it to kill anyone I didn't like.

I've never PMed someone the wrong thing. I think I have posted something in the wrong thread. I'm trying to remember this one specific time I remember doing it, but it was so long ago argh.
I rarely mix up IM windows. Maybe I've done it once, and it was half on purpose. I am very careful with these things!
I have a nasty knack for IM mixing, and usually when I'm sending a really embarassing message.

In FFXI I "mt'd" quite a bit. Y'know, between /p ( party chat) and /l ( linkshell chat). I haven't used messengers in ages ( I should try them out again), but I'd remember I sent messages to people that weren't mean to them.
No but when I am typing in my username and password sometimes I mix it all together. That is all. :bounce:

I mix up my ims when Im in a rush to respond to them all and then nromally I rush to say. The funniest mix up that I can remember was how i was talking to a friend about something to do with school and I mixed up the ims and I sent her an im that said "Yeah our normal streaker wen't on vacation so I took his place and went. You should be thanking me" and the person was okay that was random and im like :cry: you werent' supposed to read that. Luckily I was only joking with that person with a british accent i never actualy ran through town nakid.:shifty:
