Any word on whether the menu will have the character classes? Wikipedia doesn't mention anything about it.

I don't see why they'd leave them out. We can assume they'll leave them in, since there isn't much of a space restriction regarding text anymore (or *whatever they left them out in the first place for*).
I'm more worried about the funky music placement and timing issues. They'd better have fixed that up...
What about the censoring? Less? Same?
Well, if FFIV or FFVA are any indication, there will be much less censorship. I wouldn't be surprised if FFVIA gets a T rating (though E10+ seems to have a bit more leniency now). Still, it isn't 1994 anymore. No more space restrictions. No more censorship. It'll be great.
Like you're really going to boycott the chance to have a portable version of the best Final Fantasy for the SNES just because Terra isn't officially a Magitech Knight.
as long as my siren summon shows her hot pixelated arse!
THE JACKEL
I just want Relm to be called a Pictomancer again.
Did they implement a graphics upgrade for the advance version or was it simply a direct port?
If anything, the graphics have probably been downgraded a bit. It's rather hard for me to explain, but the graphics just seem a bit...bland. Too bright for my taste.
And unfortunately, there are some framerate issues as well. Most animations in general take about two seconds more than they used to (Edgar's Auto-Crossbow, most black and white spell introductory animations, bigger spells like Holy, Flare, and Meteo, etc). The airship also takes awhile to get up in the air, and seems to move slower like in FFIVA.
Zex, are you sure this isn't all because you were using an emulator? :P
it was said in another thread that the battle screens graphics are a bit plain.
E.G.
the first fight against ultros has water and mountains in the background. on the GBA it just has water.
People that own the cartridge have been saying that there really has been alot of slowdown on the actual game. But, it'd be nice if it weren't the case.
Well, there are cliffs, but I guess they're shorter than before, or something. I haven't played the SNES version in awhile, so I wouldn't remember something like that.Quote:

he's right, but it's because the GBA screen has a smaller resolution. they can't fit everything on, so some of the more detailed backgrounds have gone. there's really nothing they could have done about this other than releasing a new handheld system.
I would like a hardest Kefka battle... =/
