Nah, not me. The good thing about writing articles and covering news stories for Squenix is that when they released info on Larsa right off the bat, they made it known he was a male character. I knew right from the start.
well i had the guide with me... so i looked at him b4 i actually saw him in the game and the pic in the guide makes him look girly like

Yeah, I totally thought that Larsa was a short adult woman the first time we met him. It didn't help that the use of male specific pronouns wasn't used until later on in the game...
Also, to preempt any 'lol ur all dumb hes totally a guy' comments, keep in mind that it isn't exactly blatantly obvious that Larsa is male when you first meet him.

the first time i saw vayne and larsa in a wallpaper, it reminded me of Laguna and Ellone for some reason xD obviously, larsa is ellone to me at the time. Then, i realized on a fansite she's a HE!
Considering that I knew who he was from the information revealed about him before the game was released... I never got the opportunity to thing Larsa was a girl.
Also, Lamont is a masculine-given name. That could've given it away to anyone who didn't know Larsa's gender.
I always thought he was a girl until Vayne referred to Larsa as his "brother" and I was all like WTF!? I still think he looks and sounds like a girl.
Out of all the FF games, this is the first time I misinterpreted a characters gender.
When I first saw this pic, I honestly thought Larsa was a girl.

And no, LunarWeaver, nothing's wrong with you. The first time I saw a picture of Larsa (which was actually the one Renmiri posted), I assumed he was a young male.
But again, I watch so much anime, I've seen worst androgynous men...
I've never played FF12 but when looking at screenshots and whatnot, I was like "So this Larsa is like a princess or something" and referred to him as a girl for ages before someone told me he was male :P
I was almost 100% convinced that he was a girl until I asked someone else. Then they informed me that he was male, and I nearly wept.
