Before you decided to join EoFF did you read a few threads and posts before you joined or did you just join without getting to know EoFF better?

I read some stuff, but not a whole lot. The one thread I remember really reading before I joined was....I can't remember which forum it was in, but it was this big debate thread about the characters in FF X-2 being too slutty-looking. I remember TheAbominatrix being all up in that 8-)
I just joined. I was looking for some FF help on google, and it came up so i joined
I didn't know what the forum was when I joined.
I joined because Giga Guess promised to touch me inappropriately.
I'd certainly been to the front site before. I think I might've actually gone to it as a source for news for as long as a year before joining the forums.
I think I just joined here after reading about the site in EGM and thinking "Hey, cool, I go to that website." If I read any threads before joining, I sure don't remember it anymore. :p
I just joined. I may have read a post or two but, I was going to join either way.

I browsed the forums for about 2 years prior to me joining. But only looked here rarely.
I was looking for FF9 EU release date and info via Google and it led me here. I lurked a hour or two and joined.
I was actually reading threads at this place several years before I joined.

I always lurk a bit before joining a forum. I dunno how long I lurked at EoFF before signing up, but I do remember trying to get a feel for the place before jumping in.
I remember joining to get help in FFX. :p
I read several threads before joining, but only for a few days or so before deciding to join. After having two bad experiences on other forums, which generally had a lot of rude people, I wasn't interested in joining another, because all the forums I had ever read, and the two I had joined, seemed to be full of jerks.
I found a link to this place in the second forum I had joined, and the people there consistently insulted this forum (like everything else they mentioned) but as soon as I read that one link, I realized that all the posters seemed to be decent enough. After a few more reads, I noticed that someone wanted help finding the original Monkey Island games (which have been discontinued by Lucasarts) and I decided to join a help him out.
Unfortunately the thread was closed because "abandonware is a tricky thing, and not always legal." I think that's what whoever closed it said.
I was searching for help on some FF game or another. I looked at the main site for help, realized it wasn't going to work and joined the fora. I didn't actually use the forum much for game purpose. I was drawn to the Writer's Corner. I remember DM and Calliope's poem thread. Good stuff.
I wanted to hack into this site to prove my 1337 haxxorz skillz but pressed the wrong button and ended up joining. :(

Wow! I joined so long ago I barely even remember. At the time I was a teenager living in Texas looking for a site with good FF coverage. I'm going to say that I read a few threads before joining.

I was sort of forced to read a few threads here and there before joining and then I ended up joining on a dare and I had no idea really what a forum even was. I know I didn't know what threads were. :cat:
Tammy begged me to join. Only she did it under the guise of Election Booth. She used to wear a box on her head, with a hole in the top, and would ask people to submit their votes in the hole.
I needed help with some Final Fantasy, most probably FF8. o_O
I was just going to get my help and go but that didn't work out. >_<

I was so thrilled about the idea of a forum that I could chat on extensively about Final Fantasy 1 that I joined immediately. I mean, especially after the breakdown of the FF Classic FF1 Forum (tragedy).

I only viewed the frontsite a bit for some info on FF7, but never read any threads.I later joined 'cause I had a problem with the friendly monsters in FFIX, but nobody helped me and I got told off for triple posting. Curse you, EoFF! :mad2:

I looked at the Kingdom Hearts Riddles thread and joined so I could partake.
The first one was cool.
I was here for the MP3's =D And then they had to get rid of them =/ I joined the forum and it was my first...I started out in the FFVI area and now I'm all over GC and EOEO :p
The same thing I say to all these threads. The Sloppy Joe thread in the archives made me join. :heart:
I decided to read the whole ffx section place then joined:)
I looked at the main site for about ten minutes and then joined the forums. First post was in the FFVI section where I gave ed a hard time for not liking FFVI. Not a good way to start your membership. ;)
I think I just joined. That was a while ago though so I don't really remember. I know I definitely have been here a few times before I joined but I don't think I ever went to the forums.

Somehow, RPG Maker XP led me to this forum.
I joined right after finding it.
I read maybe a few posts before I concluded that the people here were fairly intelligent, so I then joined.
It was like a "hey, look at this"-type thing.
And then I started clicking and typing and the next thing I knew...
I think I was looking for a ff9 thing and I just decided to join the forum. Then I don't think I even ventured into the ff9 board. GC had my soul before I even knew it.
