Let's compile a list of impossible, idiotic, and seemingly contradictory 'inventions'.

Here is my personal favorite. I don't think it's been thought up by enough people, since I'm the only person who ever says it:

"powdered water" : just add water.

I use something like that whenever I have a "great idea", only I usually call it "dehydrated water", which is just an empty bottle with instructions to "Just add water". Great minds and all I guess.

lol, that would not work on so many levels, mainly the physics that would wrap the elevator around the earth due to the earth's spin and moons orbital period being nothing alike :p

I can't think of any contradictory inventions right now :cry:

Except for the multimillion dollar investment of a pen that works in space, when a pencil is perfectly useable...

A Space Elevator is not an entirely unfeasable concept. However, if it goes wrong it's a pretty goddamn big deal.
