So this duck was hunted and shot and survived two days in a refrigerator. Whoa.
Now, if that wasn't enough, the duck was taken to a veterinarian for surgery and such and stopping breathing on the operating table. And then they brought it back around with CPR, since vets are professionals like that.
Does this odyssey qualify Perky (apparently, that's the duck's name now) as the toughest animal alive?

I dunno about Perky particularly, but ducks are definitely the toughest, roughest animals on the planet. E.g....

Wow, I feel really bad for this duck :( I would definitely give it a sticker and an asspat of congrats should we ever meet. For sure toughest animal around.

No, a dog once got hit by a car, put in one of those... bags things you put animals in whn they die and lived for a week in the freezer. The dog suffered no injuries except a few broken limbs and recovered sompletely.
If someone can top that, I quit.

Wow, I can't believe that someone would go all that way to rescue a duck. But nonetheless, I believe ducks to be scary from my own personal experiences, and if something that cute can freak me out, then yeah, it's pretty tough.
If I had that duck here, it would get the best treatment ever; the poor thing has deserved it.
Indeed, you should get the finest pastry in the land and pre heat the oven to the perfect temperature. Should you use shoddy pastry or have the oven too hot or not hot enough could result in your duck pie being ruined.
