Who are you? Who, who, who, who?

During my Humanities class today, we took a personality test. It's more of a self-identity thing since we are focusing on stereotypes, profiling, and self discovery. There is an online version of the test that's a bit more complex than the version we took in class, so I'm unsure of its accuracy. The test is separated into four different colors. Orange (the adventurous type), gold (the responsible type) blue (the sensitive type), and green (the smart type). It has complex and detailed meanings in each of the colors. It's said by sociologists that when they made these categories atleast everyone fits into one for most of their life and it's dominate throughout. So, which color are you?

Hmm...seems to be a lot of greens here, including me. Gold was a very close second.

What's interesting is, that my teacher told us that (statistically speaking) green are the least likely to be around. There are ofcourse mixture of green and another color, but she said it's rare to see predominantly green people in classroom settings. And I couldn't help but say to myself, "That's because they are all busy on the internet!"

I hate these kinds of tests.

I hate it too, I had no idea what to do... I ended up as "gold"... whatever the hell that means.

I've taken so many of these tests in my life and received so many varying results that I have no faith in them anymore. They generalize too much.

The Blue personality type is more difficult to describe than the other colors because the Blue's goals are somewhat nebulous, even in the mind of a Blue. However, more than anything else, Blues are in search of themselves. They are absorbed in the act of becoming. While the other colors go after straight-forward desires, the Blues are involved in a perpetual search for self. In a sense, their purpose in life is to have a purpose in life.

Orange fits me really well. Like, perfect. Except I don't forget little things with romance. Other than that, I tend to forget.

Blue is a little off. I prefer to only share my emotions with those closest to me. Or people I don't know or have to truly interact with. I do base my decisions off of either impulse or feeling. Logic sucks. I am extremely competitive, which is not a blue thing, but an orange thing. So, override there. Not so much for the nurturing careers either.

Interaction is pretty equal with action for me as well.

I just took the test and it turns out that I'm blue, which is slightly depressing... smurfs have always kinda freaked me out :eep:

Anyway, the description of a Blue person was surprisingly accurate. Probably the most accurate I've ever gotten out of all of those stupid personality tests out there. So, that was a very nice surprise. I thought it was kinda creepy reading a description that suits me so well... brrr.

I'm a blue but the break down is:

Interesting in the part on the insights in to blues I noticed this and without realising it my hand went to the arrowhead pendant I wear with my engagement ring attached:

Considering that I nearly tied with Gold and Blue, I would say the test is fairly accurate for me. Apparently my lack of orange makes me an old fuddy-duddy. :p
