The EoFF Deck of Cards

An idea came into my usernotes when I was asked who's that 2, 3, etc, so I decided to make a thread to decide on who's THAT TWO!

Anyway, presenting the EoFF Deck of Cards! We have the 52 usual cards, and 2 joker cards.

Alright, we'll be assigning cards to either ourselves or other members who you deem worthy of a certain card. After all the cards have been assigned, maybe I or someone can create the cards. We'll see as we get there.

Anyway, considering I'm Ace of Spades, so I assign myself as Ace of Spades.

This opening post will have the official assigned members to each card, I will be putting the members name to their assigned cards as soon as I see them. So let's have some fun with this. :D

Anyways the deck of cards we currently understand as playing cards originated from tarot cards. The Queen of spades was originally known as the Queen of Swords (Or the Throness of Air - PS. I'm an Air Sign).

(You may wonder where the word "spade" comes from... well it comes from the latin word "spada" which means sword. TOUCHE)

It represents the motion of cutting through traditional securities and foraging forward and is further more symbolic of risk taking, understanding, liberation, accute self awareness and intelligence. Unfortunately it's also symbolic of solitude, fear of personal relations, lacks social skills and tact.

Ace of Spades would've been my pic......hence my custom title, but since I can't have that then.......

The Jack of Clubs would suit (no pun intended) me just fine. (Would've picked spades but Rase had beaten me to it)

I don't think the Ace of Clubs has been picked yet...but there's probably someone who deserves it more than me (I'll take it if nobody wants it, of course). :cool:

However, the idea may disinterest me later on, so no promises.

I will be basing the cards on the current avatars/sig/profile picture of the respective people, so unless you want your avatar/sig/profile picture to "represent" you, PM me a link to a picture of you or whatever else you want to be "represented" as.


If this idea actually starts to be something more than a whim, I'll post updates. And then - if the end product is ever finished - people can print them off and play poker with an EoFF inspired deck.

Hell, this could be a competition, now that I think of it.... Might be more fun to make it a competition.
