Do you ever pay attention to peoples profile pictures? I think some of them are quite qualitey. The one I used to have of my Yatta dudes was great.
I caught this snapshot just now of Jessy*C's latest profile picture! She's decided she's going to become French, you see.

They're profilley, and picturey. Yeah. I don't see peoples much, as most people tend to have a picture that isn't them.
And mines like a year old.
I like mine.
Mine's 2 months old, I'll take a new one soon.
Mine's, uh, a few months old now. Maybe I will change it soon, maybe I won't.

Yeah. I just now realized after first clicking on this thread, that I could put up a profile picture too. So I just did. I find it amusing that the thought of putting one up for me had never entered my head. Anyhow, I have one now.
Anyways, I like profile pictures. No particular reason, they just tickle my fancy.
I haven't changed mine for ages.

I don't go out of my way to look at people's profile pictures, but I look when they're there.

Profile Pics is something more than meet the eyes.
I don't look at many people's, but I usually enjoy them because they are either entertaining or a picture of that person that may not be in the album. Mine's been Domo-kun for at least a year and a half, I think. :p
If I look at a profile, I look at everything. I do not necessarily begin turning over rocks, looking in nooks and crannies, and investigating hyperlinks, but I do give a good looking.
In a rare instance of vanity, I actually put up a picture of me for my profile.
I draw self portraits in MS Paint, and I like to post the ones that I find to be the most well done and the closest to my actual likeness up as my profile pic.
It helps you all to know exactly who it is that you're talking to without actually giving the stalkers and freaks a picture of myself (blatantly)
Naturally, I assume that all you cartoony folks have your actual selves in the profile pic.
Or, at the very least, it's a pic of who you wish you were.
Or, at the absolute least of that, it's a depiction of how your avatar feels it should present itself to the world.
Profile pictures are for chumps.

Mine is awww god 2 years old soon lol I really ought to change it since I no longer sit in that room ever (since it was taken in Twisted Tinkerbell's room) and I might just put one up from when I decided to grow a beard and was really really tired constantly (I had a few taken in the local park last september) It's still going to be out of date because the hair is back to short and spiked (that needs cutting actually) and the goatee is gone.
