Q: Some job classes have abilities naturally. For example, ninjas always have two swords. What two abilities do monks have naturally?

Hmm I think its barefist and kick. What is the final level to master a geomancer.(ex, 1,2 3, etc.)

Is it 4? !Earth, Find hole, Antitrap, and Master?

I think it's just 3 because you master a job class when you get the last ability.

Actually you master it on Level 3. Although it does take 4 levels to get there considering you're starting at 0. Either one of you may ask a question.

Actually, the +30% life has to be selected even if you master the class and revert to no class or mimic. A monk's inate abilities are brawling and counterattacking.

In mime, you have to equip the item ability, and you only gain inheirant abilities, NOT Weapon Capabilities.

Acually i was looking for in bare, things like hp+30% and footwork are in effect without needed being equiped.

Actually, that's what I meant. Two-Hands is an ability inheirent to the Ninja, Footwork, the Thief, etc.

The bare job class can equip all weapons and armor except ribbons regardless of how many jobs you've mastered.

Q: List 4 places where you can find a recovery spring. This doesn't have to literally be a spring as long as it is a place where you can get your hp and mp restored.

I can think of the Wind Shrine, and the Libray in X-Death's world.

Er...okay, what about that magic pot in that castle where you get the fabled weapons (it was imported from the wind shrine, but there ya go!)

WHERE IS THE LAST ONE?

Well...there is ONE place but....
You know that lithograph place where you fight those three guys who go "bwi"? Well, if you check a certain area around the spring there you hear a "ping" and the screen flashes, just like a recovery spring!! Except...your HP and MP don't change! Maybe that's it?!

I don't think anyone's mentioned the recovery spring in the pirates cave or the one in Exdeath's castle that is actually a pool of lava.

The place where the screen flashes and goes ping in the lithograph places with the bwi people has something to do with the magic summoning lamp, but I'm not sure what it does. Maybe it recharages the power of the lamp.

A: If you use the lamp as an item it, summons a monster for no mp and doesn't get used up. The first time you use it, it summons bahamut, and each time after that it summons a weaker monster. You can restore its power in spring by the dwarf village or the waterfall where it came from.

The appropriate item summons a Genjû when you use it in battle, though, and every time the summon gets weaker until you "restore" it by returning to the falls, methinks. Or at least I think that was the item you received. You might have just picked that one up at the falls. *dies*

You can get the magic lamp without going all the way around the world. You just have to go to the waterfall while riding Boco. There's a person in Mirage village who gives you an item if you go all the way around the world on a yellow chocobo.

Actually, an "evil spirit" five hundred years ago that created Exdeath, not Enuo. I made the same mistake, though, when I was still a wee newbie with about ten posts on these forums, and even Kishi wasn't completely sure that I was wrong, so don't feel bad about it. When I played the game, I talked to the guy in Mirage who said he'd give me something if I circumnavigated the globe with a yellow chocobo. Once I did the deed and returned to his room, however, he had disappeared. *dunno*

Wasn't the other town with Coral Rings Batz's Home town? I know it's one of the sucked into the void towns, since I remember getting loads of gil in the 2nd world specifically to buy them, then when I return, I find the town disappears xD

There's 5 magic pots in Phoenix tower actually - There's 30 floors, and there's one every 5 floors. Floor 30 doesn't count since it's the roof :D

What's the best armor on the game?

The armor with the highest defense is the Bonemail, but I don't know if you'd consider it the best because it makes its wearer undead.

Q: Which weapon can be reflected when you attack with it?

The Power Staff.

I think the Wonder Rod, Sage Staff, and Wizard Rod all have *abilities* that can be reflected (random chance when you hit something with them) but cannot be inherently reflected like the Power Staff, the most underrated weapon ever.

On a side note, I do consider the Bone Mail the best armor, because you can use black magic to heal. I never liked using white magic, anyway. But if it isn't that, the White/Black provide the highest magic defense, I think, and the Crystal Amor is the best physical defense.

Related to the last question:
What does the Power Staff do, that can be reflected?

A: The power staff berserks the target.

Q: What is the first ability learned in the Thief job class?

You first learn , Passages, so u can see hidden passages.

When does king tycoon die?

A:After the Wind Crystal shattered and Exdeath appeared!

The treasure chest in Moore forest has a Aegis shield if you open it before Exdeath sets the forest on fire, but it has a fire shield if you open it after the forest burns down. The treasure chest in the Jacole cave has a spark whip in it if you open it before you release Lone Wolf from jail, but it has a note from Lone Wolf if you open it after releasing him from jail.

It's the same attack in both games; yes, it's the 1,000 damage attack.

Master.Pug, you get it from Tycoon Castle at World 1, when you talk to the Chancellor and he takes you to that place. He lets you take some stuff from treasure chests, then he says something like "This staff has been our national treasure for a long time now. I want you to take it, Princess Lenna", and then he gives you that staff.

I'll give you a hint: the best usage for that staff is hitting your own guys with it, or hitting undead monsters with it. Just don't use it on normal enemy monsters.

To Sephiroth:

The Heal Rod, or something to that effect.

I'll let Master.Pug's question stand, as I don't know the answer to it.

There's about 15 (plus or minus 3) towns in FFV.

Q: If you fail to find a time magic spell in the basement of Woruz castle, where can you get the spell later in the game?

Yep, it's Healing Staff. Only White Mage can use it. (no, not healing rod. black mages use rods) I found it very useful, because I can have my Lenna White Mage use it every turn instead of using up a Cure or Cure2.

EDIT: I don't have the answer for this question and I'm too lazy to cheat and look at a walkthrough.

Time Mages, Red Mages, and Mimes can also use the healing staff. It restores about as much HP as a cure 2 spell, so it's very useful to have on a character that doesn't use physical attacks.

OOC:	Mog42: yes, and it's very useful in World 1, when you don't have MP for casting Cure 2 all the time.

:choc:I hope I'm not out of line by doing so (I'm a little new to this whole forum thing), but since no one else has posted a question, in two whole months, I will.:choc:

From what I'm thinking, after the fire it's either a Fire Shield or Soot... not sure what it is before though.
