Duel Weilding Ultima Weapon+Master Scroll=Almost 9999 eight times

Radiant Lance+Dragoon Boots+Dragon Horn=9999 Damage 2 to 4 time and he's out of battle most of the time as well.
There's also Celes casting Curaga to keep Edgar's HP at or near Max.
Post your team and how broken they are.
why would you use Cyan to cast spells?
I have Locke with Illumina/Ultima weapon, 9999 8 times
Cyan with Quick, then a few Quadra Slices, another 8-12(depending on speed for the last 4) 9999 with no counter attacking
Sabin Bum Rush for 9999, or Mantra, free of MP cost, plus he has a regen ring, or whatever the name of it is, so he's typically full hp 9999
Edgar uses chainsaw/drill for 9999, or casts spells.
Flawless.
*NOTE: Haven't gotten that far in FFVIA yet, so don't know the names in that game yet... this was my SNES party

Locke is using two Lightbringers with a Priest's Miter,Paladin Shield, and Zephyr Cloak on. He won't die.

Well it started when I gave him Ramuh way back in the begining and then it kinda snowballed into me giving him more and more black magic cause his Bushido was too slow. His Magic is second only to Celes. Again it was all an accedent that snowballed right outta my hands.Quote:

Mog - wind dance to heal the party. If hes in the back row he takes 0 physical damage cause he has 255 def. Front row = 1 point of damage. Elem attacks heal him.
Sabin - Genji Glove + Offering = 8 hits for 9999.
Gau - Same setup as Mog. 255 def, back row for 0 or front row for 1 point of damage. Elem attacks heal him. Rage with Tyrannosaur (normal attacks = 5000+ damage and meteor = 5000-7000 to all enemies).
Locke/Terra/Celes - Pld shield, Ultima weapon. Casts 2 spells in 1 round or use a black belt to counter physical attacks for 9999. Usually both since I dont mind spending 100+ mp to annihilate everything in one characters turn.
In the Snes version, my Mog has soloed the entire final battle. (1-2 people per group and kill them all before the battle starts, or while the battle is just starting leaving Mog the only one alive). He blocks most magic attacks. Almost always stays at max health and any physical attacks laughably hit him for 1 point, no matter how strong the attack is. :)
Vanish+Doom, it's a good thing.
It may not be as Godly as some other combos, but I can't resist giving setzer offering+genji glove and equipping him with doom darts and the fixed dice (wondering if it's possible to have two pairs of fixed dice in the game, that'd be even better). Watching his luckier attacks roll 9999 on the enemy multiple times makes me happy.
Vanish doom is gone in the new version. I just ultima spammed anyway.
New setup as of right now:
Sabin - Genji/Master. Hits 8 times for 7000-9000+ (on normal monsters).
Shadow - Speed is at 98. Has a Genji Glove and Miracle Shoes equipped and attacks twice as fast as every other character. So he basically attacks 4 times in one round, technically.
Locke - Speed is at 115. Miracle Shoes and Thief Relic. He uses Excalibur and Paladin shield. He (technically) attacks twice per round, like Shadow.
Mog - Zephyr Cape and White Cape. Magic is at 120. Wind and Earth Dances are what I use to attack with. If its one monster I use Earth. If theres multiple targets, I use Wind. His Sun Bath heals my entire party 7500-8500 each. His Wind attack hits most monsters for 9999. The ones that have resists it hits for 5000-8000. All the Earth attacks hit for 9999 no matter what it is (even the Brachosaur in the Tyranno forest, which he soloed at lvl 81 and again multiple times).
Celes - Genji Glove with 2 Ragnoroks. Boosted her strength to 60 (before I knew about the Ragnoroks abilities) and her magic is at 130. Hits twice for 9999 and both attacks have a chance to cast Flare for an additional 9999 each.
Those are my main 5 so far. Basically, 1 round against anything is all I need...as usual. :)
Turn those Ragnaroks into Lightbringers!
Jowy, how the hell do you dualwield lightbringers and a paladin shield?
My broken setups usually involves getting 129 evasion and mblock. With that, you don't need ribbons either, because all status attacks will miss.

I say we should get gilgamesh on our party. 3 Lightbringers, Paladin shield, Force Shield, Aegis Shield, and two Ultima Weapons.

Yes, the wind effect does activate with the Master's Scroll. I have Cyan rocking it right now.
With a little luck, it's easily the best attack in the game.
Interesting. Ill have to try that. Right now I got Sabin using the m scroll. This is what I wanted to do with Celes but blah on that idea. If this works then, DAMN! Cyan will be in my main pt set up indefinately.
You can also get more Master's Scrolls in the Soul Shrine, so eventually you'll be able to put them on whoever you want, until then Cyan is definitely your best choice, provided you picked up both Kazekiris. If not, you can fight Number 128 and steal Kazekiris from him in the Soul Shrine as well. Wheee.
You'd have to maximize Esper level bonuses with Cyan to do a lot of damage with the Kazekiri battle effect, right?
