Knight (swords, not shields), Black Mage, White Mage, Geomancer
Too much magic going on. Needs more physical fighters.
7/10
Take out the black mage and put in a Black Belt, Ninja, or Dragoon.
0/10
Impossible to win without a party. Far too difficult for my tastes, even if it's a challenge game.
Ninja/Ninja/Ninja/White Mage

Over-rated
Knight, Geomancer, Black belt, Devout
7/10
Original and strong
knight, dragoon, devout, ninja
I'm not very far in the game so far, but this is what I have:
Dark Knight (2 swords), White Mage, Geomancer (soon to be Evoker), and Black Mage (with killer bow and arrows)
You didn't rate mine. :(
Your party is okay for this point in the game. 5.5/10
I'll rate yours, Hambone. Seems like a good one, especially on higher levels when there is no longer need for a backup healer. Strong on the offence, but I think it isn't the cheapest party either (Shurikens, Crystal armours and stuff, ...). 8/10
Mine:
Knight, Dark Knight, Devout, Sage (used on my first run through the Final Dungeons)
There's no party for me to rate, but here's mine...
Dark knight (2 swords), Knight (2 swords again), white mage, evoker.
Solid. 8/10
I've used different setups but currently
Knight (2 swords), Summoner, Sage, Onion Knight (2 Swords)
5-9/10
Could be good, depending on your Onion Knight's level.
Geomancer, Geomancer, Geomancer, Knight (shields)
It could use some magic casters. However with Geomancers in the team they could somwhat replace Summoners and Black mages. Also the Knight only needs one shield. 4/10
Knight, Dark Knight, Devout, Magus
Good balance. Knights are handy because of their high defense, and the Souleater attack by the Dark Knight is really useful, too. Good to have two mages with different specialties in Magic. Perhaps having a Dragoon or a Black Belt instead of one of those Knights can help balance out melee attacks.
7/10
I beat the game with this party:
Dragoon (2 spears), Dark Knight (2 swords), Black Belt, Devout
i like how you use a lot of melee fighters...but i would prolly get another DD mage in there only because to me 3 melee is too much
but it is solid: 9/10
my party is Dragoon(2 spears) Devout Summoner and Ninja(2 katanas)
The Dragoon gets some good weapons later on, and are definitely one of the better attackers. Devouts offer great protection, obviously. The Summoner is a nice balance of defense and nerf, I s'pose, and the Ninja is good nerfzers.
7.5/10
My Party:
Dragoon (Dragon Lance, Gungnir),
Ninja (Kiku-Ichimonji, Kiku-Ichimonji),
Magus (Spells up to level 7),
Devout (Spells up to level 7).
7/10
Solid. You'll want to get those Level 8 spells for the Devout, and mabye change the Magus to a Summoner (Summons beat out Black Magics). Also better wepons for the Dragoon and Ninja. Otherwise brill.
Knight (Ragnarok, Excaliber)
Onion Knight (Lvl61) (Ultima Weapon, MasaMune)
Devout (All White Magic)
Summoner (All Summons)
obviously well-balanced, and bonus points for the onion knight
8/10
Knight (Ragnarok, Excalibur)
Dragoon (Holy Lance, Dragon Lance
Summoner (all summons)
Sage
A decent team with a high damage output. I'm not sure about the Sage (Haven't got that far yet) but it might get a little tight on the healing unless you use it primarily as a healer.
8/10
Black Mage
Dragoon
White Mage
Dark Knight
(Just done the Cave place with Doga)
8/10 Seems cool, 2 powerful DDs and your obvious balance of black and white magic. Maybe not enough healing power?
Monk, Black Mage, White Mage and Thief (start of game)
