does anyone know why it seems like the world map isn't showing all of ivalice? maybe it's just me

Cause the game only takes place in a part of Ivalice. This thread shows more of the map http://forums.eyesonff.com/showthread.php?t=101149.

Vaan isn't a main character. If you don't choose to have him as a leader that is in your party.

why do I have to fight some enemies with green HP?

Colored HP means they are harder for you based on your level. Yellow / Red HP would mean they are much harder, so green = easier (I guess)

monsters with green hp wont attack unless u attack them first

Griffens don't look like Chicken either. But we appear to be digressing. They are the graphics Depts lazy variations of Cockatrices. Instead of starting a new monster they get a cockatrice & shove it's head in a whores purse.

Vaan IS the main character in the game. He is the character everything else revolves around & the only character you see in towns.
