Balthier is awesome, storywise and gameplaywise:)
Balthier reminds me of some sort of Han Solo-meets-Liberace hybrid. This may be a good thing.
I would have never have guessed that you liked Balthier.

Along with Fran (dear GOD! Her voice is pure milk and honey) Balthier is my favourite character, even though I like the whole main cast (turns out you can get used to Vaan :D).
I think Balthier is a bit like a hybrid between James Bond (classy ladies' man) and Jack Sparrow (pirate who doesn't do anything that doesn't bring him benefit).

Balthiler kind of remindes me of Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer and maybe a bit of Jack Sparrow.

I love him - he is a great playable character and has a great sense of humour. And I absolutely like the way he talks!

Balthier is indeed the slickest character in the game. His wit (and accent) remind me of James Bond. I'm glad he'll be in The Lion War, but I hope he has good reason for being in it.
ya well i hate him yet i like starwars for some reason i dont even know so i might like balthier more now and he sucks cause the guns are weak, the strogest gun theFomalhaut only has 50+ attack, but the shots all depends on witch status effect you want to happen so i hate him.
