I never played the first two, but the third one was a lot of fun, though brutally difficult. Glad I'll be able to play this one, now. :p

Special Edition has the same difficulty of the Japanese's version D:

on the easiest mode. the enemies don't even attack ;-; (well they do... just not ... like... yeah)

Meh. God of War is better than any of the DMC games, and we won't be seeing that go multi-platform. Frankly I don't care about this news. If I really want to buy it I can get it for my PS3, but after playing DMC3 and seeing that they hadn't bothered to fix any of the things I hated about the first game I doubt I'll bother. There's less innovation going on in this series than Zelda.

The only DMC game I've played for more than a few minutes is DMC 2 so you can probably see why I'm not all that impressed. :P

I just want a 360 version of Metal Gear Solid 4.

No, if Gates bought them out they'd be 360 exlusives. 3rd party developers decide to make their games multiplatform so people who don't wanna waste 600 dollars on a PS3 can actually play their games.

I mean which would you rather do? Play the exact same game on a 500 dollar console or a 400 dollar one?

It depends which one looks nicer and the 360 looks too much like a computer harddrive. I like PS3 it's classy, reminds me of pianos.

The look of a console doesn't really count much, really. What does count is the pricetag (where as the PS3 definetly loses in that department), useful hardware (still loses), and the amount of good games it has.

Also, the 360 does NOT look like a harddrive.

I guess it's kinda nice, but it's really not good for Sony. Devil May Cry is one of the big game series that they - up until now apparently - had exclusively for PS3.

Another thing I just read: Final Fantasy XIII may also go multi-platform. Ouch for Sony yet again.

I read that too. The translated quote went something like 'We (Sony) are discussing the exclusivity of Final Fantasy 13'. Which leads the thought that FF13 wasn't already locked in as an exclusive.

I think chances are still pretty slim of it coming out anywhere outside of the PS3, since from what I understand 13 is being built around the Cell processor and the 'White Engine'. Unless PS3 sales are significantly abysmal, it might not be worth the resources to port it. If it comes to that, they'll more than likely make a 'FF13 Fabula Nova Revenant Wings DS' cash-in--which they might already be making.

But yeah, that devil may cry. Devilish stuff. I like it a bit better than God of War. I wasn't heavily impressed with the demo I played of DMC4 though. Maybe it was because I was too tired at the time.

Don't forget about the other great reasons for a PS3 Roto.

Tekkan, Wild Arms 5, And even though I believe Virtua Fighter 5 is also going to be on 360 (Don't remember where I heard this) I'd rather have it for ps3 when I get one, simply because the Graphics will most likely look better. And of Course Makai Wars.

Still plenty of stuff to get a PS3 for.

This has yet to be definitively proven. And it won't make a difference if one does not have an HDTV, since you won't be able to see the small differences between both systems without it.

Well, Tekken might be the only one to stay Sony only since all Tekken games have been Playstation exclusives (save for that one Tekken game for the GBA and the appearance of Yoshimitsu in all console versions of Soul Calibur 2), but hey, if I end up not getting a PS3 and Tekken stays Sony-Only then there's always the arcade.

I fail to see why this is a bad thing. Now instead of just PS3 owners getting to play it, Xbox 360 owners can play it as well.

Soul Calibur 3 was PS2 only, aside from the arcade version. But yeah, Yoshimitsu was in Soul Calibur 1 and that was on Dreamcast.
