Every year has a batch of good members. But I'd say Pre-2004 ones are the pick of the litter. All established and whatnot.

June 2006. That's the month me and Goldenboco joined (In fact, we joined less than three days apart), so that has to be the single best time for EoFF. It seems that a majority of my EoFF pals joined from late 2005 to mid-2006.

But all the members from 2005 and before are wise in the ways of EoFF, and are much more interesting than the waves of newbaccas that join and only post for 2-3 days before sinking off into oblivion.

And then of course we have a handful of smart newbs like Timerk.

Ah, but you forget that there was a board reset back in late 2000/early 2001, and thousands of posts were lost. If those were factored in, you may be convinced that 2000-2001 was where all of the great members came from. ;)
