Would people be interested in an EoFF vent server?

Naturally since I'm not even friends with Sean (I've met and touched him and his wife (by the hand..we shook hands...sickos)), I'm not speaking for the eyesonff.com corporation / entity.

But there's a fun program called ventrillo that allows people to log in and chat and have pie and stuff. You know, use your mic and go 'um..hello can you hear me?' over and over until people figure out that they muted their mics? Yeah that ventrillo. I can get a vent server up on my computer, but I'm not sure how many people I can support. I've successfully supported 4 people chatting once, so I'm pretty confident that as long as I'm not running my torrents I can host it.

Or somebody else can host it. I dunno. It's my idea though! I call royalties! everybody gimme a pokemon!

i think you can get 8-man servers free and it uses a website or somesuch so it's secure too...i just don't remember....

That is awesome and now your mom is MUCH cooler than you.

We use vent at some place where I used to play an MMORPG. It made raids/wars/whatever you want to call them much easier because all you had to do with your keyboard/mouse was attack attack attack hehe.

It might be fun to have a server for EoFF though I can't say I'd be a frequent user.

The thing is either this is too esoteric or people aren't staying long enough.

Anyway afaik the server's still up and I'm still afk in it :)

Nah, it's mostly because my headphones volume were low and I didn't pay too much attention. :)

I had a friend come in from Florida, they threw your ping up to 5,000. It was pretty ridiculous. Other than that, it's probably all the binds I use.

It's funny looking at it from the server perspective. A lot of you leave the server just as another person joins, or within about 15 minutes.
