I never had any crawfish before. I'm kinda scared to try them, too.

I've always wanted to try them, but I never really order seafood much.
I think I dissected one in school once. :-/ Can't say I've ever eaten one before.
The spices and juicy meat are great! I'm sure if you like spicy food and or not allergic, you'll love it.

But, I warn you, New Orleans style is VERY hot. If my aunt makes it, You'll be gasping for air for and hour!
Crawfish are pretty much like overgrown shrimp.
I had some when I was in lafayette a couple of summers ago. It was very hot but pretty dang good.

Not really. But at family reunion's we give some to whoever wants some. And man! You can't have a family reunion in New Orleans without crawfish! It's the best! There's so much crawfish, it'll keep one person occupied for days! Brings back great memories...
Yeah, our family reunions with packed with crawfish. Although, they could do without the fights...
I don't even know what crawfish is, but seeing as it sounds like a type of fish, I am likely to not like it.
Mirage, a crawfish is sort of like a small lobster. Kind of like a cross between a shrimp and a lobster, I guess.

About 10 years ago I sampled a rather large crayfish when I was down in Cornwall
