If you guys dont already know kingdom hearts three is coming very soon. I heard that its going to be a keyblade war kind of game. and I also heard its going to be the first kingdom hearts game with a multiplayer option. So who is going to get the game when it comes out ( which I think its going to be this year or next year. ).

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is the one you are looking to refer to ;)
No, Final Mix is the remixed version of Kingdom Hearts 2. It's still the same game but with some extra stuff.
KHIII isn't comin soon... Nomura distinctly said they were concentrating on FFXIII first.

Easy now, Tavrobel--twenty years seems a bit too prolonged. Maybe around 8-12 years and then were talking, and I'm sure that there are like a dozen threads similar to this subject.

okay I am admiting that I was wrong. here is something I read while researching.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is yet to be a confirmed title by Square-Enix or Disney. It is therefore clear that there is no release date yet for the game. We have simply added this page in anticipation of there being an eventual title, and this will be the page to confirm a Kingdom Hearts 3 release date.
and I came up on another thing. Its a really cool trailer of the extended version of kindom hearts three. When you see the trailer of kh3 after beating kh2 it doesent show you all of it. Go see it the site is watch its kind of cool its basically what happens after you see the three guys in armor with the really big keyblades take out sora's ,riku's and mickey's keyblade off the ground. See it there is a small fight scene in it. Enjoy :D

the trailer is for another game SERIES in the continuity, a prequel series to be exact.
Well from what I saw there was roxas in it and plus I think I read the fact that it was the hidden trailer for kh3
As the video can easily be placed as occuring some time before the events of Kingdom Hearts (perhaps before Sora was even born), it is very easy to deduce that the character shown in the trailer is not Roxas. Chalk it up to all of Nomura's characters starting to look like each other as series go on.Quote:

You can't possibly have a release date without without a game in proiduction, so I fail whatto see what it is you are trying to prove, as it would seem that what you think you are to prove, isn't even able to be shown in a constructive way.

I think you've missed the point.
Either way, what do I think about the new series spawned from Kingdom Hearts? I think that it's a damn good idea to go in a different direction instead of limiting oneself by forcing in another chapter in a story that was already closed in a satisfying manner.
I expect that by insisting that the next game will begin a new series, it frees up many limitations imposed by the first two games. I imagine it means that Disney may not have such a significant role. Perhaps we'll see some characters from SE games other than Final Fantasy. Hopefully we'll see more original worlds ('cause let's face it, the best worlds in both games are the ones not based on Disney movies).
I think a keyblade war is a pretty good idea, and not entirely out of the blue. We've been hearing the legend of the keyblade masters since the first game, so delving into that legend is not a significant stretch of the mind. Seeing Xehanort as the main character might be pretty cool, too, although we know what happens to him in the end.
That's what I think of the new series.
wouldent it be cool if they can travel not only to disney worlds but anime worlds such as naruto and many more. That would be awesome if they found new worlds with new keyblades. That would be cool dont you think :D
The legal process of actually procuring the rights to use characters from different shows would be an absolute nightmare for Square-Enix, so one should not expect involvement of any characters not already owned by Disney or Square-Enix.
That being said, I think it would be stiffling to add more crossovers into the Kingdom Hearts universe. There's more than enough material between Disney and Square-Enix to make use of, so I don't see a reason to throw more stuff in.
If Disney is going to play a big role again, I'm hoping that there won't be any reappearing worlds from Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. The worlds that returned in Kingdom Hearts 2 already stretched the plots thin (or completely did away with them in some cases). I think SE would be beating a dead horse (excuse the cliche) if Agrabah or Halloween Town were to make a third appearance. The only world that is worth bringing back is Disney Castle, and that's 'cause there isn't a pre-established plot going along with it.

Mulan has a Mulan 2
Beauty and the Beast has its spinoff.
Hercules has a boatload of mythology to go along with him (assuming they can depict endless rape by Zeus as child-appropriate)
Tarzan has a sequel
Aladdin and the King of Thieves
Halloween Town is used up, but there are a series of other movies of the same animation type
Atlantica with two sequels
100 Acre Wood (LOL like you could use up the stories in this series)
Port Royal and its two sequels (as though I have to link this)
Pride Rock has multiple spinoffs and sequels
Tron would most likely be unaccessed in KHIII or its spinoffs
Alice in Wonderland was dropped
Also, Disney != Japanese anime such as Naruto or Samurai X. To even obtain those rights of use would be a massive investment, and also smacks of personal ignorance that you might even fathom it. Also, Kenshin would totally own Sora any day, and he would never be a Heartless or Nobody, since he's got his own thing going on (Battosai and Saito).
I know! In the next game they should have it so that you get to make your own reality TV show called "Atlantica Idol"! :O

As for continuity, the idea of a Keyblade War would be rather interesting. The secret ending to KHII:FM+ that if it was referring to a future game that Mickey would be most likely present, though it almost seemed to me that it was a younger version of him. Something along of the lines of pre-KH timeline would be interesting. Maybe eventually something about when the first Keyblade appeared would be cool too.
Besides that maybe some more FF cameos would be nice, better yet they could always have one the worlds be one of the actual FF worlds, though that might be strenuous on said world's original plot. As for Disney worlds, Sword in the Stone would be neat, or Robin Hood.
And I would argue that almost everyone one of those examples falls under my stretching the plot thin complaint. I'll concede on the 100 Acre Woods; they'll never run out of that.Quote:

I would assert that King of Thieves had a plot, so does Pirates, and even Simba's Pride, which was quite the income, even for a direct-to-video. But yes, I do recognize that Disney isn't exactly the biggest fan of sequels for the entertainment value. Then again, SE also leaves lots of questions unanswered, while Disney is all about the little children.
i would definteley get it, but i dont know about it coming out this year or next year... especialy to north america, imean look at how long it took them to make a kh2 after kh1 came out, so it would proboly be longer than you think

To quickly get the Kingdom Hearts news (or lack thereof) out of the way first: Tetsuya Nomura has stated that Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ will be his last Playstation 2 title. The new events added to the game will also not feature English voice acting, and for those of you who were hoping for a Kingdom Hearts III announcement at this year's Square Enix party in May, prepare to be disappointed: you'll have to wait a bit longer to hear anything about KHIII.

If the main character is Xehanort, I think he'll probably be a good guy. He did, after all, lose his memories. That would mean he doesn't have to be anything like what he eventually becomes. I don't know about you, but I assume losing all of ones memories suddenly would cause a significant personality shift.

Anyway, I'd think the main character'd be a Keybearer. Xehanort/Xemnas/Ansem, whoever he was never gave any hint at ever being one.

Xehanort could have been anything. The only reason he never gave a hint of being one is because he doesn't remember anything from his life before his arrival in Radiant Garden.Quote:
