I was curious as to how many people who visit these forums actually still play The Final Fantasy games. I know I've kinda lost interest in the series for the time being. So do most of you still play, or just come here for the chat?

The last Final Fantasy game I played was the twelfth installment. I still have yet to beat it and I haven't touched it in several months.
I still play X, X-2 and XII
I still play it.
I only play the main ones when they come out apart from that no not really
I'm always cycling through the series. I'm currently back replaying VII.
All the time.
Am playing V and I STILL have to finish a playthrough of CC.

I bought XII and liked it. So yeah, I do still play FF.
Well I've lost interest interest in RPGs, but I do still buy them.
Only, I've had FF3 on the DS for weeks now and I've played about 3 hours of it.

In the past 12 months I've replayed and beaten FFV and FFVI, and I beat FFXII when it came out, so yeah, apparently I do. This summer I plan to replay a couple more.
Yeah, guess so. I'm currently replaying XII, for the first time playing FF1 Dawn of souls, and Tactics Advanced.
I'm in Star Ocean mode right now, but I'm thinking of replaying FFIV or VII sometime soon.
But yes, I generally try to replay my favorites at least once a year.
I only have time for the recent additions so Im not going to go back and replay the older titles anymore. I do plan to replay FFII sometime in the future though.
every so often i play my FFXII ive beaten it but jsut havent done all the hunts got like 3 left. right now im stuck with super metroid speed running tyring new attempts everyday. and also atelier iris 2 which i started like 3 months ago and am just finnaly playing again.

I don't have time but I'm looking forward to buy teh old FF during the holidays, like FF 6 and/ or 9 and play them ;)

Once I've completed a few other games, I plan to finish FFXII and start a few other ones this summer.
After playing FF XII I started on VII again. I love that game!:love:

Yeah at least 3hrs of my 3-4 times a week gaming sessions are devoted to FF games. I download FFI - III for my nes emulator & intend to play them at some point. FF V is the only one I don't own in some way shape or form.
Still playing Final Fantasy games.
Due to the evilness of school, I had to stop playing right in the middle of Final Fantasy XII. Luckily, though, I'll be able to play it once more once school is over. :D
No, not really. I only own an N64 and a PC.
EDIT: I forgot I got a DS and FFIII :p so yes within the last year I've played about 20 hours of final fantasy.

Ive played at least 20 days of FF...as in like 400 hours,...wait no sounds wrong...Ive prolly played like 1000 hours of it...in addition to time studying sphere grids/licence boards etc..
The only reason I'm not is because I'm playing Star Wars KOTOR and Paper Mario right now. When I run out of new games to play I'll fully jump back into them, probably replaying with six or seven to start with.
when im not playing LOTRO then yes, i take my gameboy advance to work as well to get a quick fix on my tea breaks
Wow, suprised that so many of you replay them so often. I dunno what it is with me playing them now, I try to but I end up getting caught up in memories and put them down again. Last FF I played and completed must've been about a year ago when I replayed FFVIII. I have to say though, everytime I visit this board I want to replay one of them. Usually X wins since its closest to hand all the time.

This summer i'm planing to play FFX-2, FF I and II, buy FFVI Advance seen i can't find my FFVI for playstadion. Oh and hopefully when i am visting my sisters i could go buy Final Fantasy IV Advance too! ^_^ I miss playing the good old final fantasy games and my fav game too

Well due to not having a playstation for over two years, and thanks to the internet and emulators. I beat FF9 yesterday, and now I'm playing Suikoden 2 (which is a cool game) .

Yeah. I was playing FFXII then I got bored and moved on to replay FFX.
Same here. To be honest, I haven't played any Final Fantasy in months. Actually, I'm a bigger fan of Pokémon than I am of Final Fantasy. I just stay here for my friends, and for the fact I can't find a Pokémon forum with anyone older than 10 years old. :rolleyes2Quote:

I play whenever I have a good chunk of free time (at least 4-5 hours), but that hasn't happened in about a month, so I'm stuck about 1/4 of the way through FF9.
Anytime I have lots of free time I get to playing them. I don't play much though, I've had ffXII since it came out and have yet to beat it.
Allie (rubah) (me atm) played ff12 the other day.
She (rubah) (me atm) thought about convincing me (Hsu, stu atm) to buy the GBA version of ff5, but she (rubah) (me atm) decided against it, which was good because I (Hsu, stu atm) lacked the necessary funds to get it at that point in time.
It all depends on my mood, really. If I want to, then I will, but if I don't, meh.
I've tried, but I guess I just don't care for it anymore. The last one I beat was like, over two years ago I think.
I've been on somewhat of a binge since last summer, when I played IV-VIII, when i got back to school I finished the rest of the ones i haven't played/finished, and beat XII and III not too long ago. Then I started playing them in order, I'm on V now, I think after VI i'm going to take a much needed break.
I still play FFXII and X; but I'm groovin' Magna Carta style now.
I've recently replayed VII, IX and X. :jess:
I bought XII and played about 2 hours and stopped playing - it took me out of my FF comfort zone. :( I might play it eventually.
Final Fantasy is still my favourite game series out there.
I bought FFXII when it came out, but I'm not even halfway through yet. I also bought FFVA and I'm near the end of that one. :D I played some FFVIII last summer too, so yes I do still play them. I'll buy FFVIA and FFIII in a while too.
Not really. I'm just trying to do absolutely everything on FFXII so I never have a reason to play that horrible game again. Other then that, I'm more into Fifa 2007 right now, and will be until the next Fifa comes out.
