The Killers

I recently got pulled big time into this band. I own both their CDs, and man are they different. All in all, I love the band. I seem to like the sound off Sam's Town a LOT better!

What do you think of the band?

Which Album do you like better?

They're ok, but they aren't anything special, Hot Fuss was decent and I thought Sam's Town was garbage overall.

Also have to say I have had a certain bitterness to them ever since they brutally raped Joy Division's Shadowplay.

Wooo! You're the first person I've met who likes this group, except for yours truly.

I liked their song Smile Like You Mean It but thats it, Im not fond of any of their other stuff. Props to the band though, they seem to do well at what they do.

I like a good number of their songs. All around I guess their alright, some good and some bad.

I really liked Hot Fuss a lot. Haven't listened as much to their new album yet.

I kinda fell in love with When You Were Young.

Bought Hot Fuss, but discovered that there were only 2 good songs.

Dont like them that much.

The only song by them that I like is 'Mr. Brightside'.

That song is making it's way into one of my favorites of all time. I can listen to it anytime I want, and it never gets old.

I like 'em pretty good. There are a few songs I really can't stand (like Glamorous Indie Rock n Roll).

They're not bad. I enjoy listening to them, but I wouldn't say they're fantastic. "When You Were Young" is pretty catchy, although I enjoy both "Sam's Town" and "Read My Mind" much more. Obviously, I like the Sam's Town album a lot more than Hot Fuss.

I used to be into them but i haven't heard them newest album hope its good. I'm into Linkin Park at the mo love their in album. If you like the killers I'd say give Linkin Parks new album a try.

All These Things That I've Done and Smile Like You Mean It were great singles, but I was disappointed by the rest of Hot Fuss, and I haven't really looked back at The Killers since. Still, there are plenty of worse bands out there making pop music, I guess.

Midnight Show!

I realle like them quite a bit, although I only have the newest one of their CDs. I'd really like to get a hold of the first one as I hear it's supposed to be better?

.. and I can't wait to see them in concert this summer.

What do you think of the band?

The Killers are great. They have great tunes to relax to, and equally great music to listen to at a party or whatever.

Which Album do you like better?

Hot Fuss, but by a whisper. Hot Fuss has my favourite song 'Smile like you Mean it', although the Bruce Springsteen inspired Sam's Town is great in many respects too.

"All these things that I have done" and "READ MY MIND" are two of my favorites.

I never liked them until my brother bought Hot Fuss and I decided to listen to it. I don't like the...remixes, or whatever, of Mr. Brightside and Somebody Told Me. Horrible. But the album versions are great. Hot Fuss is one my favourite cds now--one of the only ones I can listen to the whole way through and not get agitated.

Sam's Town was a big disappointment for me, though. Ugh. But their Spiderman 3 song, Move Away is just as good as everything on Hot Fuss, so I am pleased.

Ugh. I used to love The Killers, but I just overdid it and now it makes me sick.
