Whose the best marksman in the FF series? You have Vincent, Barret, Irvine, Yuna, and Balthier. I'm not sure if there are any gunners from the previous games so I put other just in case. IMO I think Irvine can win in an all out gun fight against all the others you just can't stop them cowboys. Yuna has to be the noobie when it comes to guns.

In my opinion, Barret can't really be considered a "marksman." After all, you don't really need good marksman skills to shoot a machine gun like a psycho.
Vincent I guess, since he had to use his good marksman skills to get through Dirge of Cerberus.
Edgar had an auto firing Crossbow. That's way better than any gun the second generation of games could hope for. AoE physical damage for no manacost nor increased cooldown rate, not a significant loss in attack power (when the damage is scaled and added, it does slightly more), and Edgar begins with it? And by the end of the game, it's your most cost effective attack? Sign me up!
Irvine, since he actually is noted for it in the games. :)
Balthier, cuz he's delicious.

It's a tough choice between Edgar, Barret, Vincent, Mustadio, Irvine, Yuna (assuming Gunner is her default class), Balthier and Fran (she's using a bow, so if that counts for Edgar, surely it counts for her too). However, I think Yuna is my favorite gunner here. Yay for Trigger Happy! :p The person in FFXIII's trailer didn't seem too bad as a gunner, either.
Well anyone from FFXII can use a gun, Balthier was the only one that got a gun license to start with when everyone else need to do some work before they can get a gun license.
You would say the same thing about X-2 too right? But Balthier's up there because that's his primary weapon like Yuna which no mod has added her yet.:(
