Playstation had a huge amount of great games. From RPGs to action and adventure. It had it all and in good quantities.
Come on nintendo fan boys we can kick those sony asses :D
PC
Why no Sega?
SNES ITT!
lohl no genesis.
i pick playstation because i was about 14 when it came out and dominated consoles for a few years.
Why not just the main ones today?
Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo?
Yeah this is a pretty awkward list. My favorite of today is the 360, my all time favorite is Dreamcast.
I'm not gonna vote.
Your missing too many consoles. How could you miss Dreamcast (my favorite).
I have more than one favorite, but if I had to choose only one based on the gaming value and the amount of enjoyment the console gave me I'd say Playstation.
I do like the Playstation 2 the most out of those, Gamecube in second surprisingly to some, but the lack of the Neo-Geo and all of Sega's systems is close to unbearable. Not to mention Technicolor!
The Playstation. Such great times.
SNES is the epitome of a console with sweet-ass games. Somebody let me know when a console does this again.
I'm also crest-fallen by the lack of the SEGA Genesis.
SNes is the best. It had games like Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV-VI and others.
SNES was the best.... but many of the games are coming for the GBA/DS... DS can also play GBA games, plus it's on the go and has it's own great games
the best console, is actually portable, called the Nintendo DS
THE JACKEL
Playstation 2.
There's no contest!:p
Where the heck are the Master System, Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast?
I feel sorry for the newer consoles since none has been out long enough to compete with older consoles. If I'm going to pick based solely on the consoles actual games list then it would be the PS2. I've said it before, but it's worth mentioning again; I have 65 PS2 games and I don't regret buying a single one, even the ones that haven't held up as well over the years. The only other console that comes close to providing me with that many great titles is the PSX, but my library of PSX games is a mere 28 by comparison.
If I were to choose a system based on the full range of it's capabilities though it'd be the PS3. It's got all the next-gen games I want, and can play the 93 PS2 and PSX games I just mentioned.
