If EoFF allowed you to prevent certain people from posting in your threads would you do it?
Personally it would matter on the kind of thread I was posting and how serious of a thread it was.

No I wouldn't. If an annoying person was bothering me in my thread, I'd do my duty an mock them.
No, I'm not scared of anyone on EoFF! At least, not while we're behind our computer screens. In person, well, that's another matter entirely...

Nah. I agree with Shiny. Everyone has the right to post in whatever thread they want. If their posts are continuously rude or spammy or bologna, the appropriate course of action will be taken by those who take care of this sort of thing.Quote:

My theads get little enough attention as it is, so you can be very sure I would only make use of this to mock and annoy people like Rye and DK.

The staff here tend to be pretty swift in stopping dramaz from breaking out in threads on the rare occassion it happens, but if I certain person was deliberately being provocative in a thread and getting in the way of healthy discussion, then I'd definately find use for blocking them from my threads.
I've seen such a feature being used on some sites, and it tends to work quite well as long as people don't end up abusing.

I will tell you: To piss people off and create tension between myself and select members. Since these would eventually lead to a good deal of bitterness and unpleasantness, I wouldn't do it, unless one particular member decided s/he liked flaming me, but if that never ever got them banned I'd probably leave anyway.
Ignore lists work anyway, but I only use those in IRC.
