How important do you think the thread title is? And what do you think makes the best title?
I think its only there for attracting attention, when it really comes down to it, you can just put the cursor over the thread to see the beginning of the thread.
Polls I love using polls as much as possible.
Anything without the word 'Game' in it.
Anything that'll catch someone's interest. Whether it's "boobs lol" or actually related to the thread, it doesn't matter.
I think the thread title is important because it attracts attention. If I don't find a thread title interesting, I don't even bother to mouse over the title to read the first post. It's a firstest impression!

I like making threads that seem to be sexual inuenndos but turn out to be perfectly fine and relevent. It always gets lots of attention.
Polls and misleading titles work like a charm for me.
