Well I got an idea into my head that some people from EoFF should make accounts for Yahoo games, then go to Texas Hold 'em and play a game, if you lose all your starting $1000 you stand up and watch or simply leave and it goes on till there is one person left, add my AIM or MSN or just post in the topic if interested and we could try and arrange it.
Ah, Hold 'em. One of the best poker games.
I'm in, of course if it's not real money we're betting. Just let me know the time and room and I'll join in.
It's not real money on Yahoo. Well its a bit late for me to start with arranging rooms by the time we get enough players. If we get enough players, but tommorrow if this topic see's more activity and people are likely to be on and able to start playing before 2am GMT I would be happy to play then.
This is one of those tournament bracket things that you give people time to work out a time with their opponent and get back in X time with a winner. People have work and live in different countries. Good luck arranging anything with people on the West Coast with people in England and the like. That is already an 8 hour time difference. Either someone is at work or it is late as hell.

i would rather it were a 'prettier' client like party poker or somesuch but i'm in.
My computers been acting a bit crazy recently or I would've selected a prettier client. Is party poker full screen or like the yahoo client ina smaller window? The bracket sounds like a good idea, just play games of heads up but that'll take hours to get one player to 0.
I havent' played texas hold 'em in a while but I remember good times when Id id, so why not
i think i remember it being a big movable window but it wasn't easily resized...i think i should download it

Times that suit me? 1 AM - 7 AM GMT Cept on Thursdays and Saturdays. I should be more available during the day on Saturday...which would be evening for you who use GMT instead of the true time zone of CST(just ask RSL. He speaks the truth on this matter :D)
My current body clock has me waking up at about 1 in the afternoon and going to sleep at about 5 am GMT time, so I'm good to go around then.
Right well right now I'm fine from about 1pm GMT straight through till about 2am (thats the latest I'd start playing).
6pm GMT to about 6am gmt
Too bad I'm out of town on vacation, and I can't tell my parents "shoo I'm playing texas hold em' with intarnet buddies'.
I would usually sign up otherwise. Also because it's free money I'll go all in no matter what happens.
7pm GMT onwards rly

It is okay. I can either stay up all night or get up early as hell. Not a big deal to me. I said 1AM to 7AM GMT because I work and that is the equivalent of 7PM to 1AM for me. Weekends are fair game though.

Okay...well I'll go make a new account so it's an even playing field. My username is licence_eoff. I've went into Advanced Lounge 1 since it's quiet. When you get in there just say you're there for the EoFF poker game and I'll invite to the table.
My computer is acting a bit strangely so I have no idea if I will be there for the duration of the game or if it will decide to annoy me, but in that case the person who I invite first will be host and will simply need to carry on inviting people to the table as they arrive. There are only 10 seats.
My account for this is gaga.life, and as I've never played before either I'd assume it's $1000 also.
I started doing better after I stopped dicking around near the end. I hate yahoo. Limit betting with strict incremental betting ftl.

It was pretty good, there was a bunch of people in at one point, although it sort of waned near the end. Still, I'm not going to complain seeing as I took everyone's e-money and won :spin:
It would be cool to do it again but we should use a better client than Yahoo. Game goes too slow with so little money going into it.
I won 2 hands. And that's terrible.
I would be interested if another tourney is held somewhere other than yahoo.
