Not surprising. It's the most popular FF and there are a limited number of them available since Square stopped making them years ago.
For me, i brought my copy after not being able to find it for ages, and now, every time i go into a second-hand game shop that has PS1 games, i find at least one copy of it.

I managed to find a copy at a used game store for $15 dollars (must have been the luckiest day of my life), but a friend of mine looked online and the cheapest copy he could find at that moment was $75 :mad2:
