Are you a good chef? If you can, what is your favorite dish?
I can cook if I try, but only pastries and pasta. I know I can't make pancakes.

The first thing I ever properly cooked was a pancake. It was pretty darn good. Never made one since, though.
I can't cook but I can make brownies. :-)
I can't cook that much, really. I can just make some Filipino food and ... eggs ...
I'm better at baking. xD
All that I can really cook is spagetti bolognese.
I am still pretty much a nub at cooking but I can look after myself when I need to. I think the thing I'm best at making is Indian food, no surprises.
I can cook good... enough. But I don't like to so I don't. I like baking though. :cat:
I can cook, I dislike cooking however and generally cook only when someone else needs feeding otherwise I live of salads and sandwiches and other quick and easy fixes. My best dish? undoubtedly my pasta bake which I learnt from my elder brother (he used to be a pasta chef in central london) it's gorgeous especially when done as the main in a 3 course meal and washed down with a nice bottle of californian white zinafadel.
I can make cereal and pancakes.
I cook for a living. I'm no master chef but I guess I'm getting there.
It's hard to have a favourite meal when you cook them over and over again, but at home my favourite thing to cook is Indian. My dream is one day to be as good as my mother.
I think that I am a very good cook when I make an effort. My favorite dish is a mix of recipes. Marinaded steak (cooked to medium rare), stir fry (mushrooms, onions, celery, green and red peppers) with noodles.
I cook sometimes, I'm an expert in a lot of types of Tacos, salads, pastas, and completely normal in other things.
I make a great breaded baked chicken, served with a bean mix and a honey barbeque dippng sause. I'm also good at bakeing, salads, pastas.
I can cook, grill, fry, bake, and whatever you do with Ramen.
Egg in a basket.
Anything on the grill on done in a skillet I do, and do it well! :D
I'm ok. I'm getting better and better though. One day, I'm going to be an Iron Chef.
I love food. There's few simple joys in this life as enjoyable as sitting around a table with good food and good company.
My favorite dish to make... probably baked goods. Because I love using the mixer and seeing how textures can change just by adding one ingredient like sugar. And plus, the smell of baked goods is just phenomenal.
I made cheesecake awhile back (from scratch!) and I'm told that it was really yummy.
I'm pretty good with Italian food too.
Give me a recipe, and I'll make it. I love to cook, yet my creativity is rather...lacking.
I don't cook, but if I tried I would be good...some people still asking for my sandwiches!;)
Im actuallly really good at cooking see I am a science nerd and Im great at chemistry and I look at cooking like that and stuff comes out goood when I make it Tomaro or the next day Im makin philly cheesesteak for my parents cuz my vegetarin sister is out of town
Naw, but my grandma makes one helluva bowl of wedding soup.
I like to think of myself as a good cook. I love making food, and am a perfectionist when I'm cooking something. My favourite dish is actually my mothers Irish stew. Its incredable.
I only wish I could properly melt chocolate. That's all chocolate-covered strawberries require other than strawberries, and they are all I really need. =O
I don't really know how to, I want to learn. ;_;
Properly melting chocolate is easy! All you have to do is break it up and then put it in like, a glass bowl, and then rest that glass bowl in a pan that has water in (so it's resting on the rim of the pan, not actually sitting in the water) and then put it on a stove and turn the flame on. The steam melts the chocolate real easy.
Oh.
I used a microwave both times I tried, and I burnt the chocolate as a result.
I am beastly at making Ramen.
I don't like to, but I can.
I need some work but at least I don't leave a layer of dough at the bottom of a bach of brownies like my sister.
I can cook/bake/make anything with instructions on it ;)
I don't like to, though.
I enjoy cooking, more meals than desserts/baking, though. I like making meals but I will only do so when I am cooking for myself and my boyfriend/other people. If it is just myself I'll either cook something really quick/microwave/oven meal. :jess:
I love baking! and cooking yums! My favorite thing to make has to be different kinds of cookies! :D
I know the basics of cooking - and that's about it; but I have developed my own special peanut butter and chocolate sauce which I drizzle over brownies and vanilla ice cream. VERY delicious.
