Has anyone here (that goes on EoFF often) ever not had a birthday thread made for them? Would you get offended if that ever happened to you?
I probably would. Then again I shouldn't since I keep my Birth Date hidden from almost everyone.

i don't remember...but i first joined just before my birthday last year...i think i made my own thread i'm not sure...

Usually happens to everyone on their first birthday here.
I don't believe I got a birthday thread this year ^_^ I wasn't posting at the forums at the time though, so I really don't care. :p

Every now and then I look at the calender to see who's birthday it is, if there's anyone I like/know is still active, then I'll make them one.
But I don't think I got one my first year, partly because I signed up only 2-3 months earlier.
I have a picture of a cat after it was run over by a car and the top of its body is seperated from the bottom half of its body. And it has a kitty sadness look.Quote:

I joined EoFF aged 15. Strider made my 16th, Rye got 17th and 19th, Meat Prince stole my 18th and Roto took my 20th. I think the fact that I remember who made them tells you all you need to know about my opinion on birthday threads!
People from EoFF are the only ones, other than my parents, who remember my birthday. :)

I think I've got one my first couple years here, and it's been six or so since I've been a member here. I honestly don't really care about them.
I believe Pill's thread for me this year was the first. I didn't really do anything the first few years but read other's threads and fantasize about Cz in a bathtub of ice for a long time, though, so it's understandable.
I did, and I was a bit hurt, but I discretely made it known that my birthday was forgotten. Goldenboko came to the rescue at that point.

I don't think I've gone a birthday without one... Honestly, I don't care about them that much either way. They're a nice gesture... until people start posting "Happy Birthday... whoever you are." How freaking rude is that?

I've never had a birthday thread made for me since I joined way back when. I would have had one made for sure this year had Psychotic bothered to go online before leaving for London but he came to see me for my birthday. I've also made 2 birthday threads for Xander now...come on guys it's not hard I make hers and then someone remembers "holy cow she's only 24 hours older than Iceglow make the thread!"
Pill made my birthday thread last year. The previous year I had joined for only a month so it was fine that I didn't get one.
When I turned 13, no. But Shiny made me a 14th birthday thread. :greenie:
I joined maybe a month before my birthday so I didn't get one but I didn't mind. I'll be honest now I'll be sad if someone misses it but I usualy don't even know when my birthday is last year I only figured out my birthday was coming up three days before.

I've had a birthday thread made for me for the past 2 years. I can't remember the years before that though/if I was active.
Levian made mine last year, and I try to make them for people I don't hate on here when I notice it's their birthday.

I think Ive been made one every year but this year. I wasn't bothered though, as everyone who mattered wished it to me anyway. I hide my date of birth anyway, so people don't make an impression of me from age alone :]
I'm not sure if I got one for my first birthday. If not, it's ok. Other than that, I've made a point of announcing that it was my birthday in chat or on LJ so someone would make me a thread. :P
I'm pretty sure I've had one and I can't remember if it was Squinn or the magic roundabout that made it for me or what birthday it was... might not even have been for me :D :D :D
My birthday was last Saturday and no one seemed to notice. Not even those who occupy my usernotes. I cried myself to sleep six days straight :weep:
It's nice when someone makes a birthday thread, but I wouldn't be that shocked if nobody did. It was somewhat easier to know about birthdays before since there was a "These members have a birthday today" list on the front page of the forums. Checking the calendar isn't just as effective.
I tried to find my past birthday threads, and here's the thread starters:
2006 - Christmas
2005 - DP made a birthday thread for Proto. On that thread, Proto was the first one to congratulate me. I didn't get a special birthday thread, though.
2004 - Armisael
2003 - I think it was either Kossage or Xander, though I can't find that thread anymore
2002 - Phoenix Highwind. I'm not sure what PH is called nowadays, though. Blizzard?
2001 - Daryl
Never had one and Im not so sure about when I signed up. Ive been here for at least a year though. Of that Im sure.
