Never Say Never

Are there some things that you said you would never do, but a few years later you prove yourself wrong in that regard? Examples plz.

I stated on several occasions that I would never join any branch of the armed forces.

Yeah definatly, giving in to peer pressure. Im starting to suprise myself this year.

I bet it has to do with sexin' the wrong boys.

2. I honestly can't think of any that I would have foreseen when I was a kid. I mean, I still don't smoke or do drugs, and I've never been teen pregnant, so I guess I still haven't done the things I told myself I'd never do.

When I was young my father introduced me to a couple of prog rock bands like Pink Floyd and Genesis, but I really didn't understand the complexity of the music at the time and thought I would never like it. Now I'm a huge fan.

The same thing happened when I played my first RPG, Final Fantasy 7. I hated it. After replaying it when I was older, I loved it, and now credit it for introducing me to my favourite genre of game.

Move to a city area. Now I live in London, in Fulham, which is as city as it gets.

I once said I'd never buy a computer from PC World....my laptop is from PC world.

Theres MANY more things I know I swore I'd never do but I'm not going to divulge those.

Smoking cigs, smoking marijuana, and getting arrested. Could've never dreamed any of those happening. Well possibly the middle one, but the others NEVER!

I'd never thought I'd get into such diverse and generic genres of music.

Smoking, doing drugs and embracing Emo.

Well, okay, I still can't. Luckily Allie is very good about locating me paper sacks to breathe into.

No, becuase eit usualy takes less than a year for me to break it. I'll make huge speaches on something and then do what I said I wouldn't do. Most of the time it's insignicant so it doesn't matter. For instance, I made a huge speach about how I would never see Harry Potter with out reading the book first and I've done that.

I'll also se a show on tv tell everyone how stubid it looks and then love the show later.

But it's always small things I haven't gotten into smoking.

In 8th grade, me and my friend made a pact to never smoke weed.

We said smurf it sometime in 9th.

I said I'd never smoke, but for a while I did. :/

I usually say 'I'm never gonna wear these cloths' about some cloths, it usually ends up me going to the market to buy them the next day.

I said I'd never drink. It's really something I've always frowned on.

Every year on my birthday I get drunk or do something and swear never again....I do it again!

well only one thing comes to mind i said i never would like this one friend of mine and i have some small feelings towards her now. the only other thing i said id never do was smoke and never have so im good there.

I say never all the time: Mostly with the words drinking and again.

Thought of something. Some time back in sophomore year, I said I'd never allow myself to get stuck in the dreadful "just friends" stage with a girl I fancied. Yeah, that worked out really well.

I thought that there was no part of me or any picture/thing of existence that could net me saying "How cute".

I never thought I'd reach the day where, listening to what was considered one of my favorite bands all through out my teens I'd find them annoying, at all.

Usually after eating way too much food, christmas would be a good example, I say holy crap I'm never eating again. But yeah, you know.

The word never has never really meant much to me.

Ugh....other than the stupid things like going on benders, a bunch of simple worksafe examples:

Actually if you considered the average thinking of children you can invent the rest of the examples.

I have stated that I would never allow myself to be disrespected, but that thinking has caused me to ditch friends or be an overly huffy hussy. So there goes that. Burbles.
