How often do you talk to yourself? How often do you answer yourself?
I talk to myself all the time. Whats worse is, that I interject a conversation that I'm having out in the real world and it has become so common that my friends aren't shocked and confused by it so much.
i'll start a conversation with someone else and then just trail off talking to myself about something from that conversation
I talk to myself when there's no one else to talk to...
I always curse at things, if that counts.
I don't talk to myself often but I do talk when I'm alone pretty regularly. Same thing? You be the judge.

i talk and sing to myself. sometimes around other people but only if they not interesting.
It doesn't have to be loud, you know, I talk to myself through telepathy!
Quite often when I'm walking alone :p Sometimes I'll have a funny conversation with myself and then realize I'm smiling like an idiot and quickly shut up. :D
not often at all. i can't even remember the last time i did.
I'm kinda like JD in Scrubs, sometimes theres an "inner monologue" running through my head. :)
More than I talk to anyone else. There is a near-constant stream of conversation going on in my head and when I am not surrounded by a lot of people, I will start mumbling to myself. I probably look crazy while I walk around making motions with my hands while moving my lips.

I do the same, although for some reason my facial expressions begin to change, so people begin to think I'm going through something medical......Quote:

I think it was Sartre who said (generally) that we externalise even ourselves, so that 'I' become an observer of 'myself'. I'm not sure what that means in terms of what 'we' are (if every time we imagine ourselves or each other it's an external concept), but it makes me feel less insane when 'I' talk to 'myself'.

ALL THE TIME. But I'm not crazy. Man, I talk to myself more than I talk to other people sometimes. Okay. No, not really. But sometimes I just sit on my bed and talk to my walls and sometimes I get so angry I have to fight with myself and I kick myself to the ground.
And sometimes...yeah. I just have invigorating talks with myself.
Only in my mind. I tend to have arguments between my own personal opinions and my conscience. That's why I hate being alone.
I talk to myself pretty often, especially when I play video games. I don't have conversations with myself, but what is pretty strange is that I without giving it any thought speak to myself in English or German.
People always tell me I'm talking to no one, but I swear, I'm talking to the talkie talkies!
I have full on conversations with myself at home. I just have a thing for intelligent conversation :choc2:
