Um, I don't go to the zoo often enough (haven't gone in nearly a decade). Our Toronto zoo is fun though...there's really no reason other than laziness that's stopping me from going.
That and it's not a petting zoo. I wanna play with bearsies.

I bought a stuffed crococdile at the Toronto Zoo once.
He's still with me right now.
My favourite animal at the zoo would be the Llamas.
They just sit all day chewing on something.
I remembered it's scientific name, then I kinda forgot, but it rhymed (I think).

I went to Colchester Zoo a few months back, with Loz. The only thing I don't like about Colchester zoo is that it has lots of steep hills and by the end of the day my feet were owwww.~ My favourite animals are seals - but I liked watching the sealions in a tunnel and watching the lions get fed, too!

I love animals so I love the zoo! :jess:
I truly love animals, and so I also really like going to the zoo to look at them. I could spend days just looking at them.
I like the zoo all right. It's not my favourite place to be, since I can't touch the animals, but it's still pretty fun to just look and take pictures from behind a fence!
I haven't been to a zoo in forever! I love seeing the penguins at the zoo, they're so cute. And also the lions, they're just so ... interesting to look at. I don't like seeing the llamas, though. I remember on a field trip to the zoo when I was in 2nd grade, all the llamas were spitting at us. That was really disgusting. xD
I haven't been to a zoo in almost a year now, but the last time I went I was licked by a giraffe, which I still rank amongst the greatest achievements of my life.
My favourite zoo animals are bats, tapirs and penguins.
EDIT: And tamarins.
Since my Mother's a teacher when her students go on feild tips to lets say a zoo I always go with them. Penguins, Anasia (seals), and giraffes also alligators have always seemed cool to me.

I havent been to the zoo since I was little. I think we went to Knowsley Safari park and I remember driving through and the monkeys ripped off the window screen wipers~ I don't even know if you're allowed as close to animals as we used to get these days.
I also remember feeding an ostrich a biscuit through the window, and then it started pecking at me for more :(

Went to the Zoo for two weeks solid to draw animals as part of my course. It was bitter cold for the duration, but I enjoyed it all the same. I love how the animals react to you by just standing near them. Just goes to show even though they all have been raised there all there life, they all reply differantly with their actions.
Favourite animal there was the Red Panda & the Meerkat (or however you spell him).

I think one of the best parts of the zoo was in the Rainforest area, a big female peacock just jumped out and strutted around near all the people. Wherever I went there, I'd see him there. xD I think she was following me.
Huzzah! The red pandas were one of the only things I saw in Calgary! In your face!
Occasionally I break out from the zoo but then all the zookeepers drag me back in.

Once I was at the zoo with my mom, sister, and cousin and we saw the CUTEST little cats ever! I don't know what kind of cats they were though... They were still babies, and they were kinda fluffy, and I think white. We tried to take pictures but they kept hiding. They were so adorable!
