Swearing.

I find that swearing is starting to become overused. People think their "cool" because they drop the f-bomb. I think that if you over use swears they lose all meaning. Lets say everytime I stub my toe I say :skull::skull::skull::skull:. Well then I've just taken away the magic of the word :skull::skull::skull::skull:. Now lets say I never say :skull::skull::skull::skull:, and suddenly I light something on fire and I say :skull::skull::skull::skull:. Now it has meaning.

Let's talk about curse words~

PS- smurf! <- I love that filter

Saying :skull::skull::skull::skull: 147 times summons a dragon.

Naming Tifa :skull::skull::skull::skull:girl unlocks the nude patch in FF7.

I swear way more than I probably should, but not to the point where its stupid.

I don't think it's a problem in moderation for emphasis. Sometimes there just aren't substitute words to convey a feeling as much as a cuss word.

I think the F word is the single greatest word in the English language. Please don't wear it out with gratuitous overuse, people. Save it for when it's really needed or else you'll be like The Rock was in that weird DOOM movie.

People who curse a lot are potty mouths. I don't like them.

I don't swear. I don't really mind it when people swear, as long it's in moderation.

I swear for no reason a lot of the time. I just slip into some conversation, casually.

I swear in moderation. Most of the time I just use some girly version of the words. Arse, fock :D

I don't swear a lot but I heard the expression 'smurfing hell' and I liked it :D .... am I going to hell now??:whimper:

The most memorable phrase I love saying is:

"For smurfs sake" or "What the smurf is this :skull::skull::skull::skull:"

I swear every now and then, but I usually just say "godddd" or "crap". I just never got into the habit of swearing like most people my age have, and they're always being grounded for telling their parents to smurf off or whatever.

IRL I don't try to rob the meaning of smurf or :skull::skull::skull::skull: much, but the other 5 I use a lot.

I think that the less profanity the better.

I do actuallly swear way too much, and it gets me into trouble >_o

I'm a saint. The only thing the filter has ever caught from me here is Chuck Norris (Raoul Duke), and I don't think that names count as swear words x_X

I say them quite a lot simply for humor. I also enjoy mixing them with regular everyday words or swapping them with other "swears".

Around my friends, yes, a whole lot. Around most other people, not really.

I don't like swearing but sometimes it slips out and I get disappointed in myself...swearing just isn't lady like! :mog:

I'm not a big swearer. Only if I hurt myself or get pissed off (not counted as a swear word in my books so don't get off my case :tongue: ) with something I do wrong. But never in public (unless I'm out drinking, but even then I try to control it).

I don't mean too, but I end up swearing a good bit without noticing. On & offline.
